The item is as described, looks exactly like the picture, no surprises. Pretty bird feeder, nice looking. Glass with a metal bottom.

Chaque hiver, j’ai à coeur de nourrir les oiseaux qui passent dans mon jardin et ils sont nombreux. Il y a de moineaux bien sûr mais également des mésanges, des pies et même des pigeons. Je leur ai préparé un coin pour eux dans mon jardin. Ils ont déjà à disposition des boules de graisse (dont j’enlève les filets car c’est hyper dangereux pour les petits oiseaux qui se prennent les petites pattes dedans, restent accrochés et peuvent en mourir), un abreuvoir et maintenant ce distributeur de graines dans lequel ils viennent manger quand ils le souhaitent.
Le distributeur est bien conçu, il est solide. Je l’ai pendu à un arbre. Les oiseaux peuvent poser leurs petites pattes dessus sans le déséquilibrer.
Les graines sont distribuées au fur et à mesure sans que je m’en préoccupe au quotidien. Je viens vérifier de temps en temps s’il faut remplir le distributeur mais c’est tout.
J’ai pu proposer aux oiseaux un mélange de graines : du blé, du maïs, de l’orge, de l’avoine, du sorgho, des graines de tournesol.
Les oiseaux viennent se servir quand ils le veulent, comme ils le veulent. C’est un plaisir de les nourrir pour l’hiver et un plaisir de les voir se servir.

I love that this is a glass and metal feeder so the squirrels can’t chew it up! They have managed to find a way to it but can not destroy. It’s beautiful just wish it came in other colors.

I love this little feeder and so do the birds! It’s so pretty, just like the picture.
But like a lot of the reviews said, the holes are small and standard feed does not flow through. I was using a toothpick every day to force the feed through which is ok but of course not ideal. That is why I only gave it 4 stars. I did just buy feed that is very, very small and it flows but not sure I like how small this feed is. The feeder is best for small birds like finches, but jays also come and watch out so do squirrels. It also has to be filled more often. It’s too bad there isn’t also a larger version of this feeder, I would buy it.

I have read lots of reviews on other products this one really works for me. Unlike products made of metal I love the fact it is made of glass thus no need to worry about rain and rust. I bought a hook from the hardware store and hung it out on my firestairs. I live on the 6th floor in SF thus can’t comment on how it will do in harsh weather or with squirrels (I always thought so what if they come and share some food? No big deal) but this is one of the best things I have bought on Amazon. Love watching the birds and started naming those who frequent this feeder. Also, my cat can’t get enough of watching the birds.

The blue-colored glass is beautiful and solid with a metal base and well-constructed. Although I am still debating whether to return, that is where the positives stop. If you are elderly or afraid of breaking the glass to remove for filling, I tried spraying WD where the glass met the base and then it turned easily. I doubt this would necessary again. The height of the container seems somewhat small and relative to the size of the base. The holes in the base are too small to drain water completely and you will need to make them larger with a nail or drill or forever have an issue. The glass opening is about 1.5in and not wide-mouthed so why say it is. Could make a nice indoor window ornament…seriously.

Accroché à l’extérieur du garde-corps de ma loggia au troisième étage, ce joli distributeur de graines a vite trouvé ses clients.
