Light weight and sturdy. Doesn’t leak. Birds like it.

I was looking for a small feeder with perches and was happy to find this one. Bonus features were the glass tube and top-fill design. I don’t use the built-in moat as I have separate ant moats, so I can’t review that part. I have another feeder I put out and this year I have had a lot of trouble with bees/wasps. They sit there most of the time and chase my hummers! I noticed this feeder does not have any bees, so the little hummers just chase each other! I guess because the long flower tubes that stick into the feeder make it hard for the bugs to reach the nectar. The only concern I have is the base. The little gasket seems to do its job, but it is made of some kind of foam-like material. Does it absorb bacteria? Also, it seems the only way to clean that part is to soak the whole base, gasket and all, in soapy water…you can’t take that apart! I wonder what the manufacturer could tell me about that? Otherwise, aside from that concern, a very nice feeder!

Hummingbirds like it and it is easier to fill. I am used to washing them twice a week, but noticed mold doesn’t seem to grow as fast in this one. It could be the cooler weather, but I’m happy with this purchase – bought an extra large ant moat to go with it.
UPDATE: 2 years later: This is the best hummingbird feeder ever! I’ve had half a dozen since this one and they all fight over this one. It is easy to clean, bee proof, easy to fill (just unscrew the top if no mold/mildew present) and obviously, comfortable for the little creatures to use. The only downside is that the flowers get stained and replacements are ridiculously expensive. The cheap replacements don’t work.

This is not a “grandmaster” feeder, it holds only 20 oz of syrup. I’m a little leery of the mechanism cause it seems to be made of foam. Imagine how much bacteria and saliva will get absorbed into the sponge? I trust the brand from other purchases, so I’ll wait and see how it functions.

I paid more money to buy a hummingbird feeder with a rubber ring seal to avoid the leaks that occur using a plastic one. I didn’t put it out until the middle of April and immediately it seemed like the nectar was disappearing at a rapid rate. I kept adding a little bit of nectar and it kept disappearing so I brought the feeder inside and put it over a couple of paper towels overnight and sure enough it was leaking.
It seems to be from one or more of the flowers. I’ve thought about trying to silicone it but not sure how to do that with the flowers

I love the feeder, especially the fact that it fills from the top but no replacement flowers are available even though the item is still being sold. For that reason I will not buy another. Four of the five flowers were mangled by some critter unseen by me. I purchased this 21 AUG 2023 so it is long past any replacement guarantee. I very much like the perches are appropriate for the hummingbirds to perch and feed. It does seem the should cost less than an entire new feeder.

I love this Hummingbird feeder. It is my second one, as the Hummingbirds are fighting over my first one. I love how easy it is to clean! Being able to fill it from the top is a super bonus. I have to fill my other feeder from the bottom, and then turn it over to make it up right. loosing some of the nectar. This feeder is so much easier to fill. I highly recommend this feeder.
