Fast and accurate. I can rely on this when setting up my guitars and intonation.
Richard –
This is the most useful and accurate tuner for guitar I’ve ever used. I’ve been buying and trading guitars for 56 years. I’m not a hoarder and I’m no expert but I’ve seen a variety of guitars in my lifetime and gone through a variety of tuning solutions. This is the first professional level tuner I’ve purchased and I wish I had known about it sooner! Even if guitar tuning is the only feature you use from this device, it’s still worth the price for its accuracy! I like the “sweetened tuning” feature! First time having a smart feature on a tuner and I have been using that mode to tune all my guitars. I have two acoustic and two electric and it works very well. This tool helps me nail intonation even with sweetened tuning! You can do better than “close enough for Rock and Roll”!
Daniel Reynolds –
Works well, needed a bit of work with on-line account to set up colors, etc. But very accurate. One weird quirk to mind: sometimes it seem hard to turn off; you can be sitting in a room and all of a sudden, see it come on!
Driftwood Dan –
First of all, it is a great tuner. It is very accurate, plus you can dial in your instrument (in my case an acoustic guitar) for a “sweetened” tuning. This might not seem like a big deal, but I can hear the difference between this and my other tuners. Second, it is a great metronome. I can set it for a human a voice so it counts “one and two and three and four…” and I find this extraordinarily helpful. It is also easy to operate. It doesn’t have a lot of confusing menus, and after spending less than five minutes reading the manual I knew everything I needed to know. My only slight criticism is the manual that comes with it is difficult to read, but I was able to find an online version and that one is excellent.
Amazon Customer –
I bought this unit mainly for metronome mode. My practice has never been this fun. Tapping is easy to use with various subdivision. Time signature and signature are something. Accent function is very useful, it divides the beats, so you can listen easier. Five different voices are necessary. For rock music, voice no. 1 is the best. For fingerstyle, voice no. 3 is easy to catch up the beats. Last but not less, color is lovely. My favorite screen color is still orange, comfort to my eyes. I haven’t explored tempo map yet but I’m sure that it’ll work like magic.

Every time I go to any music store or luthiers, all I see are these. I had an early LCD Peterson that lasted for many years.
Easy to read, you can even change color. As accurate as anything short of a real Peterson strobe tuner, charge quickly, well designed interface.
Get a case with it if you are going to be taking it to gigs, I don’t think it would take the decades of abuse and hundreds of gigs my VS1 did, and I don’t intend to find out.
Not cheap, but worth it, a classic example of getting what you pay for.

The strobe tuner is the most accurate, and this one is versatile and easy to use. The only thing it won’t do is find a place on your pedal board. there’s no foot switch, and it needs to be recharged with a USB cable. Where it belongs is on your workbench and in your practice room.
On the workbench it’s fast, accurate and clearly visible from across the bench. It’s got both a microphone and a signal input, so just plug in an electric or pick up an acoustic and you’re ready to tune and adjust.
In a practice room it’s just as quick and easy to switch guitars and keep them in tune, and now the plus features help you get the most out of your practice time. There’s a timer if you are on a schedule, but I love the metronome. I like an old fashioned swinging metronome because you can see where you are in the beat as well as hear it when it happens. Most digital metronomes just give you a noise and a blinking light, but the StroboPlus has a display that is like a swing arm on a mechanical metronome, but it’s a lot easier to adjust the speed and rhythm than a mechanical, and never needs winding. It also has saved presets so it’s easy to work through the tunes you want to practice. The digital improvements on a mechanical are all here too, change the voice, chose any meter and subdivision, set the accent pattern, and just spin the big knob to change the BPM.
It’s not the cheapest, but the recent price drop makes it great deal, and it gets used as much or more than anything else in the practice room.

This has worked great for my needs, I believe in performing my own maintenance. Some one working on guitars, this is a necessity. You can tune a guitar and check intonation easily.
