Love these leashes and collars. They are comfortable, durable, pretty, they float and are rust resistant. For the Florida weather and our lifestyle these leashes and collars are the best with the exception of fancy occasions when Italian leather or leather with gems would be more appropriate: my dog is a diva:) We have tried A LOT of collars and leashes and finally settled on this everyday go-to. Just wish there were more bright happy designs to choose from. Great price. I suggest you put some cocoanut oil in the clasp on the leash to prevent the interior from erosion IF you plan to be in salt water 🙂

this leash is very sturdy, wonderful soft fabric, color is a soft dust rose – just perfect for our little girl. the charm is very cute and the clip is easy to open and close. I’ve never seen anything like this is regular or specialty pet stores. the cost is wonderful and I highly recommend this product.

I have a 50 lb Lab who ate straight through this leash in no time flat. It is cute and decorative. If you have a tiny dog this may work. But if you have a larger dog stick with a rope leash or that strong cloth lease. This was a waste of money for my particular needs. I am sure the puppy enjoyed chewing on it for the few weeks it lasted.

To the Company that makes the Bark Avenue leash, make it better or stop selling them !!!

We have had a Bark Avenue collar on our 52 pound Samoyed for nearly 2 years. It has a laminated vinyl pattern on one side and a nylon solid fabric on the reverse. We love the quality and durability of their products. This original plaid collar was getting loose so we ordered this new floral butterflies leash and collar. We received the leash from Amazon yesterday. Took our dog for a walk this morning. We noticed the green was peeling slightly on the edges when we attached the leash to her collar. By the time we got back one hour later from the walk, the leash was peeling badly nearly the entire length of the leash. Comparing it to her old Bark Avenue collar, this leash does not have the laminate coating over the vinyl pattern which is what ensured its durability all this time. We are returning both the leash and collar. We do not know if this is unique to this pattern, or if Bark Avenue has changed its manufacturing process, but this set that we received does not have the laminate coating over the vinyl pattern.

My dog’s a hound, so she’s always on the hunt. This is especially difficult walking her in my neighborhood with all of the stray cats we have, so she pulls on the leash nearly the whole time. After having the leash for a couple months, I noticed that the stitching at the clip-end had started to come undone. With a couple more sharp tugs, she probably would’ve gotten away from me.
That being said, the leash itself was comfortable, and the faux leather side provided great grip.

Only had week so not sure how long it will last but, this is really nice looking leash, good design and expensive looking for leash for less than $10. It is sturdy and I like it being 6 feet, giving little more wiggle room than some 5 feet leash. Metal finish is awesome, instead of cheap looking shiny steel, it is in nickel finish. So far with few chew on the leash it is still very good condition (no chewed marked on the leash) and holds well.

I love this leash! Its beautiful and well made. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the metal clasp is kind of hard to push and not as high quality as I would have liked, but considering the price, I definitely recommend.
