Bought as a temporary litter box for a small kitten when acclimating her to our home. Box was easy to use and leak/mess proof. However, as we cat owners know, they jump on everything they can. So she jumped on it and sat and sometimes laid on the top. After two days the two shorter sides began to give causing the top to collapse. I remedied that by applying tape Fri ok the story side to the longer side but then it made cleaning the litter difficult. I ended up cleaning the litter by using the entry hole on the side. If your cat isn’t much of a jumper than this is a great product otherwise.

Super lightweight and easy to set up. Worked great for my 17lb American Shorthair both on the road and in the hotel. Fully set up, it doesn’t take up too much space and it even comes with scoops. Holds about 2 inches of litter in the pan, I filled with slightly less. Recommend keeping the covered top on for litter kickers. Two holes in top cover made it very easy to carry in and out of the car.

The hole to climb into is a bit higher so my two bigger cats had trouble getting in. Also it’s not constructed well so cat pee leaked out of the tray after the third day. It’s a good idea though and was convenient during my temporary moving situation.

Had to relocate with my cat for a few days to accommodate a home renovation project, so I bought this to take with us. Setup took minutes and the cat took to it right away.
Only negative and it’s a small one people have already mentioned is that the “box” part for the litter crystals isn’t really all that deep so if you have a digger like I do you’ll wind up cleaning crystals that wind up everywhere. If the box was even an inch or two deeper it might be better – I wound up putting it on top of a large bath sheet to try and catch the random crystals.

We were moving from Alaska to California and this saved us so much worry. We had adopted our cat a year prior and hadn’t considered where she’d have to relieve herself and we didn’t want to get the zip travel pack alone because we were worried she’d kick most of the litter out… she absolutely would have. We stopped every night and set it up in the hotels we were staying in without a single issue. We paired it with a zip up travel littler box, mainly because we were also worried she’s scratch through the plastic seal on the inside of this one and it all get soaked , but everything fit perfectly within the travel pack once unfolded so we can continue the trip. There wasn’t a single issue, it lasted us a bit over a month and will absolutely be repurchasing for an upcoming trip we’re about to take.

I read all the good reviews here, and, now that my cats used it in a trip, I completely agree!
I gave two cats, one of which is a sturdy, 17 pound beefcake of love, so my greatest fear was that it’d be too small for him…but it was just fine.
My other cat is a Kung Fu fighter in the litter box and kicks dramatically, so I feared she’d kick all the litter out the first night. I was happy to find that the fully-enclosed box kept almost everything inside, and what crystals did fall out were very minimal over a three day stay.
The kit comes with everything except trash bags to transport poop—it even comes with disposable cardboard scoopers. It’s a quick setup and, when finished, it’s easy to collapse and put in a kitchen garbage bag so a cleaning crew doesn’t get dirty.
We’ve already bought another one so we have it handy for a future trip.

Absolutely no leakage, you get a ton of litter, set-up is super easy, the size is decent (my cat is about eight pounds and had just enough room to turn around but if you have a larger cat it’ll be a bit tight).
Easy clean up but the scoops are a little tricky as it’s like using a small spatula with tiny side walls 😂 so wear gloves or buy a cheap scooper.
my cat tends to run like a bat out of h*ll after a good bowel movement and it does track; it’s like the Himalayan salt rocks but blue. if you happen to step on it it turns to dust and it’s like a little ASMR. but that’s normal for most litter on hardwood floors.
the litter doesn’t quite clump for the urine, the litter almost absorbs it instead? and I didn’t notice any of the usual litterbox smells either.
I dare say it’s stable enough to have in the trunk while driving but be sure to not have anything hit it because the walls kind of pop in/out like a relatively sturdy pizza box. not a bad thing if it’s sitting stationary in a hotel room, might be a slight issue on the road. if you’re traveling by air I would have it delivered, with a heads up, to your location as it does have a decent weight due to the litter.
overall, it provided the purpose i needed it for so it was worth the money and if I go out of state again with my cat, I’ll definitely repurchase this but probably with a Dollar General scooper.

Works very well. Much better than I anticipated. The litter is great for controlling odours and the box itself is very sturdy. Excellent for travel use.

Easy to construct, plenty of litter for one cat. Worked well for my short stay in a hotel with my pet.

Love this litter box. I got these for a week long trip with two days on the road. This was perfect. Nice and compact. I used a liner because I put it in my bag and didn’t want the smell or litter going everywhere. But the style of this really helped keep everything contained. There was no odor unless she pooped snd I would scoop it right away. It was weird how the pee just absorbed. I think the litter wouldn’t last much more than a couple weeks due to that. But perfect for 1 cat for 10 days.

I’ve had to travel with my cat several times over the years, and litter has always been a problem, especially on multi-day trips. This has made my life so much easier and I’ll never buy another travel litter box again.
My cat loooooves to dig in his litter. Sometimes, I think he was an archaeologist in a past life. He kicks litter around like he’s at a New Years Eve party and he’s drunkenly tossing confetti. This box did a great job of minimizing the mess while still letting him attempt to strike oil.
Easy to assemble, it took less than five minutes to have everything popped up ad the litter dumped in the pan and ready to use. Clean up was super easy, too. When we were done, we just reversed the pop up process and it folded back down into itself so we could just drop it into a garbage bag. No trying to hose down a dirty plastic pan (ew) or trying to clean up thousands of tiny rocks that have formed an asteroid belt around the box (also ew). Much easier than what we even do at home!
I was concerned that he might pee through to the floor – the litter box is just cardboard, after all. Not exactly something you’d want to try to sail across the ocean in. To my surprise, I never found a leak. And believe me, I checked. Whatever is in that litter is very good.
For a little additional stability, you may want to use the top of the box on the bottom or top of the cube. It makes it a little more sturdy. The litter is non-clumping, and I thought it was a little dusty – but I have asthma and I’m a little sensitive.
If you need to travel with your cat, buy one of these. It will make your life so much easier.
