I have been very happy with this cage. It is home to one little budgie but would have plenty of room for 2. I love the seed catcher (of course some still end up In the floor but it’s much better than one without it). Cleaning is so easy with the pull out try. I just change the newspaper daily and plan on washing the whole cage weekly once little bit is trained to come out. My only complaints were no latches on the food and water doors. Baby bird figured out how to open those within minutes. A hair clip is perfect to hold them closed. The main door on mine was I suppose either broken or super awkward when I got it. I’m somewhat afraid she could push it open from the inside. Maybe I’m not doing it right. There were no specific instructions about the door so I think Mine was just broken. Good cage for the price. Very low maintenance

I received this bird cage in hopes it would be a great size for my little parakeet. It’s perfect. He loves it. He’s got plenty of room to stretch his little wings, and have lots of toys, and nice perches for him to rest on. There’s plenty of room in it, if I decide to get him a roommate ….

Very cheap and flimsy cage. Returned the cage. It should be max $75 cad. Please respect your pets and give them the biggest cages possible. This cage is small for even one budgie. I regret in the past as I have housed bigger birds like conures in small cages as I thought to myself they are always outside anyways and they only go in to eat and sleep. But, I was so wrong. My conure had anxiety problems which I realized after he had passed it was mostly due to a small cage. Even though he spent most of the time outside his cage, he still needed a big cage to feel not cramped when he was in, whether he was eating or resting. I am so sorry for this big mistake I made.
This cage is for max one budgie. Even then it’s small. Always go bigger. Have respect for their needs. They depend on you.

We have 2 cockatiels that we board, when traveling, with a pet sitter. If you need an inexpensive cage option, this one is not bad. We attach our own feeding cups because our birds would never head to the bottom of the cage to feed. Plus, the caca can fall into the cups easily. They should revisit the design. Cheap option but oddly configured

The color was nice. When first received the first apprehension I had was the food and water doors don’t lock or latch. Our birds are curious and mischievous so I was afraid they would try to escape. Once the cage was set up I went to add their perches and the bars are not strong enough to support a small branch style perch. The bars are so weak and I wouldn’t trust them to support anything without fear of escape or harm to your bird. The cage is also not square as it should be once built. We decided to return this cage as it is not of good quality or safe for any bird. Pretty disappointed because the brand is said to be good.

I bought this on sale for around half price or so. It is very roomy for my parrotlet. Door is wide but the perches are plastic but can still add or change to the perch that you desire. Sometimes I have a problem with the bottom grate, it is slightly hard to remove as it gets stuck on the edges but can still be removed if you really tried.

Very flimsy – wires bend easily and door doesn’t close tightly because of the bending. Base and tray are very light plastic that can be easily damaged. Flared base is a nice idea to keep seeds in, but there are so many gaps all around the base and tray that lots of seeds still get out. Very over-priced for the quality!

This bird cage is not only functional, it’s visually appealing. I would recommend this cage to anyone with a pair of Parakeets or Budgies as some call them. Our two parakeets LOVE their cage! My only complaint is at the bottom of the tray corners, the opened/gapped areas of the tray allows seeds to fall out. I wish the gapped areas were not there, I vacuum the seeds daily with a handheld vacuum. That is my only complaint with this cage. All in all though this cage is perfect for a pair of parakeets with the horizontal and vertical wires and the spacing of the wires, it makes hanging accessories, toys, additional feeding cups etc an easy and is very safe for the smaller bird breeds. My two parakeets have “out of cage” time and often times fly back to their cage as they love it so much. I’d definitely buy this cage again!

I bought this product as a replacement cage for my cockatiel. His previous cage lasted for many years and the same style was not available anywhere. The vertical wires of the door side and back of this cage are so thin and the distance between the horizontal wire is too great so he can not get a grip and he slides down and has to start over. He has fallen many times and sits at the bottom of the cage not happy. I have purchased white rubber covered wire and wove it in between so as he climbs he can use his beak to grip and raise himself up so his toes can reach the horizontal wire. My bird is used to moving around inside and outside his cage in an only pet safe environment. I want him to continue to enjoy his life and this was the only solution I could think of.

This is the smaller of the two I purchased for my parrotlets – my pacific needs more space than the green rump so this was a perfect size for him. The cage performs as stated, but I’m a neat freak and added thin acrylic sheets to the three sides going about half-way up to keep the mess in because when they flit about the dust and feathers stir up above the sides. The regular falling debris is caught as manufacturer states and again, I only add the sheets b/c parrotlets are extremely active and beat their wings – it makes for a little less clean up. The main reason I purchased this the first time was I insist on having a large door to get in for proper, easy cleaning and I am convinced the large door is less stressful on the birds so that you aren’t needing to chase them around. Highly recommend this cage….
