I have a few Phomemo printers already and when I saw that this one would fill the gap I had with labels of varying lengths, I picked it up. As with all of the others, it was easy to configure out of the box, and worked with very little effort on my part. Print quality is great, everything is clear and crisp. I *love* the slight retro look of the thing. I am happy with my purchase and will not hesitate to buy another Phomemo printer in the future. I removed one star from “Easy to use” because the app doesn’t work as well without an internet connection, and I don’t think that should matter for a label printer. Fonts can (and should) be local. 🙂

I wanted a label maker that wasn’t too expensive but allowed me to do 24mm labels that were continuous. This was perfect. The app is easy and everything prints just as I wanted. Now my. Christmas totes have large labels on them so even my son and husband can easily find each year. Nice, big, clear and crisp. All for 75% less than a Brother label printer. It is simple, compact and does exactly what I need it to do.

The D50 Label Maker is feature rich, compact, and fairly easy to use. Unfortunately, it prints the first label incorrectly every time. Subsequent labels print flawlessly, but if I’m only printing one label a day I’m spending twice as much on labels as I need to. The first label prints about half way onto the label and then seems to orient itself correctly for the second printing. I’ve followed the troubleshooting videos, tried manual feeding the label, and made sure everything is clean. I think it’s most likely a problem between the app and the printer.

If you’re in the market for a little label maker and you’ve stumbled upon this guy, get him! This is my 3rd label maker and it’s my favorite one (also own the Brother PT-2040W P-Touch and the D30 from the same brand as this one – Phomemo). The brother label maker is just too basic for my liking and creativity level as well as chunky especially to lug around for on-the-go use age. The D30 works just fine, but I noticed more often than not I had many issues with the print on the label being aligned and clear.
This label maker however is the perfect fit for me! It’s very simple to use the label maker itself and the app (Print Master). So far I’ve had zero issues with the text or print on the labels aligning correctly as I did with the D30.
My main use so far (as seen in the photos) has been labels for my kitchen/cooking items so add durability to the list of great things about this little guy. These labels can handle getting dirty and being wiped off repeatedly so that’s a BIG upside for me. Also love the size of the label maker itself making it extremely portable and convenient for on-the-go use which is notable because when it’s not being used it’s in my backpack going pretty much everywhere with me!
And if you’re still not convinced, maybe because you’re worried you might need support/assistance, the team at Phomemo is exceptional and they go above and beyond to help you with whatever you may need.
So to sum it all up, I HIGHLY recommend this label maker!!!

It says it takes 15mm and 16mm label tape but it does not. Also, during printing, it’ll fade the “ink” and doesn’t actually print. I have to turn it off and turn it back on for it to print right.
I tried multiple labels that say are compatible as well as other brands. And nothing worked right. And all while trying to make it work, I passed my return date.
I would not recommend this product. It’s been a headache ever since purchasing.

I bought this as I still handwrite my labels for my small business – I figured I would take out at least one of those labels and now I have perfect address labels for my home address. The instructions are simple and the app is very basic and straightforward. Lots of help with the steps of how to set it up and function, but honestly, it was the look that grabbed my attention. It’s compact and sits on my lamp perfectly, right by my crafting area. No complaints as of yet. There are two size settings and it does come with a roll of labels from the get-go.

It was used to make wedding invitation names and it worked great, sure the app took a bit of getting used to but over all not too bad. Once we had the template needed it was very easy to just print out. May even buy another.

I love this little machine! It charged up quickly, was easy to set up, and easy to use.
I’m about to take a 3-week trip and wanted to bring along a ton of skincare products decanted into travel-size containers. This label maker made it super simple to create the labels so they are neat, consistently formatted, and secure.
Now that I’ve finished that task, I’m looking around for other things I can label because I don’t want to stop!
Its beautiful design was a huge selling point for me. I didn’t want to buy it if it didn’t work well, but the cuteness of it convinced me to buy this one rather than one of the many alternatives. Design matters!
My only complaint is the as a graphic designer the font I chose doesn’t print as perfectly as it appears on screen, but I may be able to adjust that with some tweaks to the print settings.
The labels cost almost as much as the printer, but I think they should last me a good long while. I bought continuous type labels so I could customize the size. The machine came with a roll of rectangular labels.

I needed something to make water proof labels for wires, breakers, bottles, cans etc. Figured I’d gamble $30 on this. It is wonderful! Instructions are easy to follow. Runs off a battery so I can take it where I’m working. The labels are clear and stick well. The phone app works perfectly. The app has a quickie version to get simple labels plus a more featured version. I use the quickie version and get everything I want. It is intuitive and fast. Prints are instant. I use continuous label so the I press the cutter and the label comes out centered every time.
Not a thing bad to say about it.

Updating my review a week later, dropping from 5 stars to 4 because finding replacement tape was somewhat difficult, this product can only use a label manufactured by the same company, eliminating options significantly.
Otherwise I am very happy with product, I’ve added labels to almost everything for my home office, each label was fantastic! **BE CAUTIOUS WHEN PRINTING TWO COPIES IN ONE PRINT QUEUE- the printer has yet to handle this task properly, the first label is cut in half. I just print one then another.
