I have been a college student for 2 years and I have tried many different pens. These are the best pens I have used by far (better than Pentel, Ink joy, sharpie S gel, etc.). Dry time is pretty fast for a gel pen. The colors are pretty and they do not leak or skip while writing. Will buy again!

I use these for note taking, journaling, etc. I love the way they write and the colors are beautiful. The fine point pen helps with accuracy and no bleed over. However, if you hold the point of the pen on the paper too long, it will start to bleed, so there’s that. Otherwise, these are great pens to use.

These are the most pleasing pens I’ve found. They flow across paper nicely, and give a fine, precise line. I’m not entirely sure why some ones just feel better, but these are my go to for note taking. I find they also last a long time, so the overall value is great.

After about 25 years experience using pens, the Pilot Precise V5 RT is far and away my favorite. I never thought I would have such pen brand loyalty, but these are so good! They write smoothly and consistently, and the link is high-contrast without being reflective at all, such that it is always easily legible even in sub-optimal lighting situations. I decided to treat myself and get them in an assortment of colors.
One thing to note is that these are the type of ink that saturates through the page – this is part of what makes them so nice to write with and read, but it also means that they are best suited to writing on one side of the page on thin (e.g. basic notebook) paper, since they show through to the other side a little bit. No issues on thicker paper.

This may seem like an enticing deal, but that is only if you will truly find yourself using all of the pens. Since I mostly write in a professional setting, I only had the chance to use the dark blue, the black, and occasionally the red pen. So just please keep that in mind before buying. Other than that, the quality of each pen is awesome, feels good on your fingers, and the ink is easily refillable.
