Okay I purchased the 8 x4 Post-it(r) Dry Erase Surface and added a simple painted wooden frame around it using a nail-gun adhering to the wall knowing that this product has adhesion challenges after reading all the reviews on Amazon.
I plan to buy more of these large sheets for our newly renovated conference room which we will use for our strategic design sessions and long range business planning meetings. I do wish these sheets come in much large sizes as I plan to frame these new future sheets of 8 x4 Post-it(r) Dry Erase Surface with thin aluminum boarders to hold it on the walls for my team to use. As our one wall with this product has been a very effective tool in the growth of our company.
In my opinion, the writing surface of this product feels, writes and erases better than all those painted dry erase paints that I had tried and wears out so quickly that you have to repaint by the surface get rougher and rougher to write on.
I needed a large Dry Erase wall area for the team and spending a few more dollars for framing and paint to create a large working tool that will be cheaper than buying more of that “writeable” paint and that wears out in a few months seems like a good deal to me.
BTW – these sheets looks so much nicer/professional when it is framed on an office’s wall.

I bought the 4 x 8 size, and as a dry erase board it works great. It took two of us about 30 minutes to put it up. Since the edges were so curled, I thought I would use painters tape for the first week or two to until the curl came out. But it’s just so big that I wound up having to frequently smooth it out. We wound up spray painting some trim gold, and using the trim to keep the dry erase surface up. I’m thrilled with how it turned out. I mostly use it for a to-do list, but it’s also helpful when explaining math problems for the kids.

I like the size and the non obstructive install. If you have imperfect walls like most you will def see imperfections. The adhesive is still strong after several years.
I did use thumbtacks on all the corners to keep it in place.
If you leave on marker for long durations it will take some elbow grease and whiteboard cleaner to remove.

We have 6 4×8 Dry erase boards in our office. The cost to replace due to the marker not coming off anymore was going to be upwards 2,500 dollars. We bought this product to try on one board. It was easy to install and made the old board new again. We did need some extra tools to apply the roll so we would not get bubbles. It worked like a dream. We bought 4 more. In the long run it saved money and disposable of the old boards.

This Dry erase roll came in today I had an idea to put it on the back of my door in one of the rooms/ The Home Office. And I actually like it! This is a six panel door. and the indentfrom the six panels molding doesnt effect the writing at all at least not for me. you would actually have to be pressing to hard in order to not have smooth writing with 6 panel molded door. I put the excess stripp that i cut out on the side of my refrigerator and from there the roll became magnetic, in otherwords on the standard door I can’t use magnets but on the frig I can.
