If I could give this more than five stars I would. First I have to say that the case is very heavy. My only tiny complaint.
Comes in a latched suitcase and when you open it there are layers to it. When you first open you have socket sets, Allen wrenches, ratchet, screw driver with replaceable heads, a tiny set for doing set screws and such, crescent wrenches, level, tape measure and I could go on some more.
When you undo the latch and lower the next level you have hammer, screwdrivers, hack saw and the list goes on.
A lot of it for me for inside the house I probably wonโt use like the sockets or ratchet but all of the other tools will be so handy to just grab what I need and then put it back in its spot. No more going back and forth to the garage looking thorough the tool chest for what I need.
This is staying right in the house in the closet where itโs handy to grab. They definitely are not Craftsman or Stanley but they are heavy and well made.
For the price you have an all in one tool chest thatโs perfect for women, new homeowners and kids going off to their first apartment.
Absolutely cannot go wrong with this set.

I can’t quite believe how complete this too set is. See the photos – there are things in here that I didn’t own after buying tools for 30+ years. Ratcheting screwdriver with 40 bits, small square and large square metric sockets, various screwdrivers, pliers, a hammer, a saw, level, etc. Great “throw in your trunk” set of tools if you need a set on the go. I have not used these yet so I don’t know the quality of the steel, etc, but they look pretty good at first glance.
My only complaint is I opened it upside down and the sockets were all over the place. I’m guessing this mostly happened during shipping. Also, the ‘strapped in’ tools were mostly unstrapped, and the hammer had gouged the top fabric in the lid. You can see the damage in the photo. Not a huge deal, but it would’ve been good to strap these down better for shipping, although then I’d have to unstrap them all one-at-a-time. Probably better to have them all in their place and hope for the best during shipping.

This kit is missing two of the pieces that are supposed to be there. Itโs missing the 4.5mm and the 5.5mm sockets. I saved this to give to my husband as a gift, so we just now discovered the missing pieces. And now itโs too late to return or exchange it. This was a lot of money to spend on an item that shouldโve been double-checked before selling. Very disappointed.

I love this kit it comes with everything from wrenches to even a small saw. It has different screws and almost any Allen wrench you might need. Everything including the case feels very sturdy and well-made. My only complaint is that something is supper annoying to get out of the case. I have had to often use another tool to pry it out from the hard casing surrounding it. I would definitely recommend especially if you’re looking for a 1-time buy for most of your tool needs. It will last you a long time.

These are the tools that you would expect a non mechanical person to own. Its a complete set of situationally usable tools that would not work over long usage. Not a terrible set just not something to give a mechanic, he might laugh.

I am totally going to keep this in my RV. I dont think they would be great for heavy use but for the occasional repairs or hanging thing i am pretty sure these will be just fine.

Holy cow! Just picking up the Prostormer tool kit case tells you it holds something serious inside. How about 15 lb. of tools? I had thought the Prostormer would be carried in the truck of a car as an emergency kit. Nope. Way too heavy and the tools contain therein are too sophisticated to be an emergency kit. I can see this being bought by a beginner homeowner to have the basic + enhanced tools to handle home maintenance.
The tools are not Snap On quality. But better than Harbor Freight. More like Loweโs Cobalt line of tools. The Prostormer Tools are for a Jack-of-All-Trades, a handyman who does most everything. But to do serious carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work, more sophisticated tools are needed.
The highlight is the five racks of small fastener bits. Torx, Pozi, etc.: so long as you donโt lose these bits, they allow you to tackle any small fastener issue. The case is very stout and shows every sign it can handle the weight. Inside are the upper and lower tool compartment plus a tool-laden flap between them. All tools are marked with an outline to show what goes where after you are done with the task.
A major lowlight is the lack of SAE tools. There are no sockets are wrenches of this type. This is a glaring error as many automotive and plumbing fasteners are SAE. Another miss is the cheap utility knife in the kit. This is a key tool and being cheap on a vital tool is not good. The lower panel that holds the sockets and wrenches is also not well designed. For some of the smaller metric sockets, the holes are too small such that the sockets fall out. The holes for the wrenches are too tight. I had to use another tool to pry the wrenches out in order to use them.
I have never seen flexible plastics used in quality tools. The torpedo level in the Prostormer is made from soft bendable rubbery plastic. Totally wrong. The same is true with the hacksaw whose frame is plastic. You have a good chance in cutting yourself if you try to use this flimsy saw.
There is a bit of deception in the screwdrivers. Their tips are painted black to emulate a harden tip. Attached is a photo comparing the painted tip to a genuine hardened tip. For large screwdrivers, the large torque will over time โroundโ the tip, which prevents secure engagement with the fastener. Thus the need for a hardened tip. I donโt think the black paint on the Prostormer kitโs screwdrivers do much of anything.
E-mail has taken over from snail mail. This relationship can be applied to this tool kit. Some enclosed tools are like snail mail, not used in ordinary life. The hacksaw is an example of this. I have a hacksaw that has not been used in 50 years. They are designed for cutting metals and a better tool is the saber saw. Another example is the clamps. These devices are used mainly in carpentry to hold pieces together during bonding. This is not a common procedure.
There is a box of generic screws and wall anchors. In my experience fasteners are very specific for the application. The vast array of fasteners available at Home Depot is a much better source than the small box enclosed with the Prostormer. What about the hammer? It adds a lot of weight to the kit and it can be sourced easily.
My review contains not so subtle suggestions to remove certain tools. All this is to allow Prostormer to include SAE sockets and wrenches. This will make it a much more versatile tool kit.
In sum, the Prostormer tool kit delivers on its promise of a broad array of tools in a well-organized strong carrying case. Not all the tools are Cobalt quality but the buyer will receive much greater than $90. worth of quality tools. I give it a B+ due to the lack of SAE tools and some low quality tools.
