There is a warning on the top that this might smell like eggs, since it’s made directly of egg shells. I didn’t notice an odor, though. The powder is slightly pink and very fine — definitely finer than what I usually use for my beardie. Usually I roll a couple of blueberries in the powder. I don’t get nearly as much sticking, but I can always just sprinkle more on his salad to make sure he gets enough. No problem with him eating it — still gobbles everything down. Seems to be good quality, and definitely easy to use. I like the fact that it is made of egg shells — that is obviously a natural source of calcium, and I suspect it’s easier to digest.

I sprinkle this on my cat’s food. She likes it and it’s way easier than what I used to do, baking egg shells and then crushing them in a coffee grinder.

Works well For any reptile. Does not specify if theres any d3 in it. This is important info to know when caring for certain species.

I’ve sprinkled a little on my crickets for my gecko over the last few days and he ate most of the crickets. The label does warn of a rotten egg smell and they’re not kidding – so I would only dust a few food items at a time to prevent that smell from staying in the terrarium for a long time. Otherwise, not bad at all.

Lemmy has quite the discerning eye for calcium powders. We typically make his from our own chicken eggs but in the winter time we’ve had a bit of a decline in eggs so I had to supplement. He decided not to turn his nose up at this powder, so it’s a win!

This is a very good grade of egg shells. Also good for many different animals besides just reptiles. I used this for my dogs, because egg shells are a good source of natural calcium for dogs and there system does very well with it. Yes this product is 100% egg shell. So don’t panic just, because it says reptiles on it. Egg Shells are just egg shells. This us definitely a good product and I would buy this to use for many different reasons other then just reptiles. There are many other ways that egg she’ll can be used, but I would just say do a little home work on them. There is so much use for them. I really do love this ans will be telling my family and friends about it. Thank you so much.
