We have the Headrest Mount Monitors setup in our truck…they are great for long trips and even just for some peace and quiet on short trips. We bought a few extra head phones and they were easy to pair. We are very happy with the purchase.

Bought to upgrade from a 7 inch system i had for my grandkids and they really like the bigger picture, i like the leather screen covers they are awesome. Thought the install with the wiring could of been a little easier but not bad. Had a problem syncing the headsets but figured out. Took about an hour to install. I woild recommend this system.

Love the new screens, they are fairly easy to connect but could be made easier I believe. The picture on all movies I’ve watch has been great and the sound has been loud enough we have to turn it down on some. the head phones range isn’t that great and if you’re not right behind the screen it wont get signal. Love the fact the movies load and unload from top of unit and would recommend to anyone looking.

I’m not really certain how to review this product. It has fantastic features and capabilities, but fails miserably in execution.
1. The screens are great. The mounting brackets are rock-solid.
2. The number of different video inputs (DVD, USB/SD card with a plethora of video and audio formats is quite impressive.
3. The setup/installation is a complete disaster. There are far more connectors than needed. To get the second (slave) unit working, you are required to connect SEVEN connectors together. Then, in a stupefying decision, the other two (power) connections are bare wire. In the official manufacturer video, it says to twist the bare wires together, add “a touch of solder,” (2:07 in the video) then wrap with electrical tape! What?!?! Do they think that every mom and dad (or grandma/grandpa) that are installing a DVD player in their minivan has a solder gun??? Two simple connectors (even better, a single cable with all of the wires connected -like most every other vehicle/portable DVD system is- would be far more logical.)
4. OK. So you finally get everything wired together (assuming you haven’t already sent it back to Amazon in frustration)… Whew!!! Now, to get audio. It is required to go deep in the on-screen menus to select the audio output you want to use. You eventually find the menu and select the output you want. NOT SO FAST!!! If you don’t also disable ALL other options, it won’t work.
Seems like outputting audio to all options simultaneously would be the logical thing here. Not in the Pyle world! Want to switch between the wireless headphones to the wired earbuds? Just plug in the earbuds, right? No! This requires another trip deep into the on-screen menu to disable the wireless output. Don’t forget to enable the audio jack while there…or you won’t have ANY audio. Maybe another way to do this would be to have an easy on-screen audio output option, so that anyone can simply cycle through to their desired option?
We originally sent them to the grandparents in advance of a lengthy road trip with the grand kids. Because of the complexity of the install (I wasn’t there), they didn’t use them at all on a multi-day driving trip.
Check out my username. I shouldn’t have had such difficulty figuring out how to make things work. When I finally got my hands on the equipment, it took me 30-45 minutes to figure out how to get the audio to work and discover that only one audio option can be used at a time.

In summary… Great screens, excellent input options. Fantastically terrible implementation of the interconnection of the screens and audio selection.

They where a life saver for are long road trip the sound is great quality the only problem I was having and still having is getting the headphones to connect to the DVD players I said wireless but not able to connect I could be doing something wrong but I’ve had them for almost 3 months still can’t get them to connect someone else might have better luck but it is amazing quality a lifesaver when you have small children and I would recommend them

I got them and hooked them up and the dvd players do not work.. one shows a blue screen and no sound the other shows a black screen and sound.. it did not come with instruction and a bunch of wires..
