I just bought this to practice my sticks. I have ended Playing around with the correct use.
lol but best gift Iโve bought for myself in a long time. I donโt have space for a drum set and this works just for what, I wanted.

I got the item very quickly and in great condition. I tuned the drums and the sound was amazing. These drums would be great for either children or adults, and are very easy to play. I am very happy with my purchase and will buy from Pyle Products again.

I learned how to play bongos 6 years ago and wanted to pick it up again. I didnโt need to spend a whole lot on professional ones and thought these would be perfect. 2nd day that Iโm playing them, the logo on the male drum(small one) starts to peel off and was completely peeled off by the 5th day.
I started playing them 30 mins a day on a Wednesday and the following Wednesday the female drum(big one) just snapped. The quality of the skinhead is terrible. So, Iโd say buy at your own risk. Iโve bought some LP ones that are sure to last longer than 1 week

These bongos are well made and have a beautiful finish. This made a great gift for my son. For the price I was expecting less but I was very pleased with the construction of them.

We bought this for our grandson and he loves them. There were a few negative reviews but I think they had more to do with misunderstanding than the product itself. Some say the skins looked dirty like they’ve been used. That is the nature of the beast. Whether you’re talking about bongos or drums, the skins are seldom a uniform color on the whole surface. There will be light and dark spots. The other negative remarks are for the sound. people who have never played them before, are patting the heads with their full hand in the center of the head. This will give it a dull thud sound. Snap the fingers closer to the edge and you will begin to see how to make the sound you are looking for. Many people think that the heads need to be adjusted so they over tighten them and the skin rips. Although it comes with a wrench for adjusting, ours seemed very well adjusted out of the box.

I bought Pyle Bongo drums because I am into all types of hand percussion instraments. You don’t need formal music education to use these drums. Every single person has rhythm . Theses drums are good for beginners as well as professionals, in a band or in drum circles. Easy to learn, cool, crisp sound keeps you playing and enjoying the benefits of drumming. Highly recommend Pyle drums.

Best price I found on the internet for these highly reviewed bongos.
They were shipped quickly by Amazon, packed in a box from Pyle, inside another Amazon box. To be honest, while they were not damaged, the lack of padding inside the Amazon box consisting of one piece of brown paper, did not seem adequate. The feet of the bongos had almost protruded through the bottom of their own box, so obviously it had been tossed around a lot. Could have been better protected.
The skins on the heads are not as attractive looking as in the product photos, but they seem to be sufficient, and sound good. The larger drum skin is much nicer than the small one. The small one is discolored and rough – doesn’t feel very finished.
The assembly looks strong, and I imagine these will last a long time. I am a little disappointed in the quality of the drum heads, but for $50.00 delivered, I guess I’d have to admit “you get what you pay for”.
Still, with all my nit-picking, I’d recommend them for beginners, or cheap folk like me.

My granddaughter (4yr old) is showing real interest in playing music with us in our home studio. She really resonated with playing my professional grade Meinl Bongos. So after much deliberation we got her these along with Meinl mallets for Christmas. Although the heads are synthetic they seem almost like the real thing. When I got it… I checked the tension adjustment rods to make sure none we loose. I had to snug one down to make sure that it was carrying some of the head load. The pitch was good. Also there is a butterfly bolt that holds the two drums together through a spacer that I had to tighten all.
