These bags are awesome. I use it as a waterproof pack liner for my backpack. Keeps everything dry.

Loved that it was big and purple and easy to spot but issue came up that such a large bag gets weighed with many items. Ours ripped on first use, near top of seam possibly due to weight of content? We were able to roll many times and conceal the rip as we had no choice at the time but returned the item and were fully refunded. May buy again as it was a great bag, knowing now it’s not as tough we we had hoped. Recommend to only carry in arms not by “handle” unless rolled many many times to create large handle that would divide the weight better.

Used this to separate out my sleep system in my huge 100L dry bag. The color made it easy for me to know what was in what bag since I took everything out of their little stuff sacks and just shoved it all into this one bag. Worked great and the double dry bag kept my mind at ease that everything would stay dry.

This review is for the 70 liter bag. I’m surprised this isn’t talked about more on backpacking videos. It’s definitely not as cheap or as light as using a trash bag or a compactor bag, which will keep your gear dry from rain, but this can be sealed, in case you fall in a creek, or if you are on a canoeing trip and your pack falls out.

I have a 65 liter backpack (internal volume, not including external pockets), so this technically should enclose all my gear, but I only put my (synthetic 0 degree) sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and pillow in it, which leaves plenty of bag left to fold it over. It would be really tight to get everything in it, so I guess the 70 liters is the unsealed volume. But I’m not putting my bear canister or stuff like that in it, so it definitely works for me.

We used two different types of bags to store our stuff when we went canoe portaging and yes this one was way cheaper and our stuff stayed dry and clean. This is more like a tent material so having said that if there was a massive downpour, how long would your stuff stay dry? Do not put anything in this bag that would poke it because it will get damaged. Being lightweight is fantastic because when you are lugging stuff every little pound you can cut back on helps.

I chose this particular 5 liter believing it to be random-China-logo free. Or at worst, it might read R2depot, which is not a horrible play on words and at least conjurs to an American icon. But I got a logo that screams Amazon and all that it connotes, which I don’t like to promote unnecessarily.

Great 40 litre dry bag for sleeping bags ect! Used for river hiking, wading through 5’ water. Worked well for short stints. Single stitch seam with what appears to be a thin watertight barrier. I haven’t tried it on the kayak. If I was doing a week long kayak or canoe trip I may opt for a heavier material. Would also make a nice dirty laundry bag for university kids. Great simple dry bag!!!

This works well for what I need it to be – a bag to sink wash laundry in while traveling. It’s a good size, dries quickly when I’m done, and is lightweight. It is not completely waterproof, however, and tends to “sweat” water after just a minute or so. This happens whether the bag is right-side, or inside, out. Would not be good for a camping/outdoors trip where you need a dry bag to be 100% waterproof. FWIW, I have a similar light weight one from another manufacturer which does seem to be 100% waterproof, so it’s possible. Just not with this bag.

I needed a waterproof bag to carry my items while using my paddleboard. I wanted something lighter-weight and this one certainly fits the bill. The outside is a think polyester material and the inside has a waterproof layer. It tested it by submerging it in my sink and it is definitely waterproof. Since the bag is made of a thin material I am not sure how durable it is. I am sure it wouldn’t withstand a lot of abuse like a heavy-duty rubber bag could. But for my purpose, it’s fine. It just needs to keep my keys and wallet dry and float if it falls into the water.

I used the bag on a canoe camping trip. I bought the largest size which was great. Upon opening the package I thought the material seemed thin so I put it in a sink to see if it was actually waterproof…it was.
It held up and kept my stuff dry on my 3 day trip. I was pretty careful throughout the trip because of the thin material. I kept it away from edges to catch on and carried it from the bottom and not a handle out of paranoia and fear I would have a torn dry bag.

With that said, the size was great and the bag held up and kept my stuff dry on my 3 day canoe trip. Can’t beat the prize either.
