Razor also makes the much-less-known Quad 500, which has a bigger motor, chassis, everything. Just heavier duty, and my boy is 13 and still rides his, whereas they started at 9.

I’m writing this because I’ve seen a few bad reviews and wanted to add some clarity. If you’re already using gas powered atvs and think this is the electric equivalent. It is NOT. Not even close. It goes about 8 mph.
On the other hand. If your like most parents that want a cool “power wheels” kind of toy for there kid. This is the best you can get. This has an all metal frame and real tires. It also has the absolute best steering I’ve seen. It is the easiest to turn out of any of these by far. Ever notice the “power steering” features on some other cars? It’s because they are hard as heck to turn.
We have left this outside in the rain and snow and it still works. But I don’t recommend it. It has enough torque to go up steep hills. It will NOT get stuck in your yard. Battery life is good.
One more thing about the frame and motor… I have ridden this thing and I weigh 300#s. I only road it for a min, but I didn’t break it or damage it. This thing is a beast.
Best you can get for a fun “toy”. Absolutely NOT a real atv replacement.

Will not fit 8-12 year old like it says. My son is 4 1/2 and he has to sit at the back of the seat almost on the rear plastic. Returned it and they made me pay to have it shipped back even though it was false advertising on their part. Don’t recommend it for anyone

Kid loves it and we even attach a wagon on back and let him pull us around and he loves it. Got it for him in December and it has held up great with no problems

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it!!! I was a little nervous about how fast it goes but I feel it makes her learn self control. She will get many years on this. The shipping was EXTREMELY FAST!!! It came fully charged.

My 8-year old son loves the dirt quad! The item is well-packaged and comes fully assembled except for the handle bar. All you have to do is attach the handle bar (4 screws I think). The wires that run from the handle bar to the brakes are already attached at both ends and ready to go, so you don’t have to do anything with the brake cables. You simply mount the handle bar, tighten a few screws and you’re done. Don’t pay for the “professional assembly” —- anyone can “assemble” this product. Taking the quad out of the packaging (cardboard, Styrofoam, etc.) took more time than assembling it. From cutting the bands that are around the cardboard box to having the unit fully assembled and plugged in/charging took 10-15 minutes max.
