I would recommend this helmet. It’s durable and protects my son’s head all ski season long. Would definitely recommend. You can’t put a price on protection for your head so I feel this is a great product for the price.

Helmet looks ok and fits not bad. Is adjustable. However I tried 6 different brands of goggles and they all do not sit well, constantly pushing on my nose. Bolle/Iris/Oakley/anon/smith/Scott. My whole bag full and all the same.

It looks cute at first glance but from the images in the gallery I wanted to get that light purple colour. It arrived looking baby pink. So now it won’t match the rest of my gear.

The ear muffs are also rock hard, so can’t imagine that will be very comfortable…

Good helmet, strong warm and fits well. Probably not the same rating as a high-end helmet and i did notice that my face was getting a bit colder so i had to wear a helmet liner.

For the price its amazing 5 stars. Still a 3.5/5 if u compare it to some high end helmet in my opinion.

I’m always on the mountain and needing to keep my head safe. This keeps my head warm, has ventilation when it’s warmer out, and is easy to wear all day all weekend. Great quality for the cost.

Great fit, super warm and comfy. I was on the slopes for 4 hours and the vents on the top work great.

Unfortunately this was too small so I had to return it. I wanted to keep it bc I loved it, but it was too snug. I have think hair, so if you have a smaller head or thin hair it may fit. Super stylish and comfy if it fits.

I really want to love this helmet. It was such a good deal, I want to think I’m a genius for finding it and not spending 2x to 5x on another helmet. Alas, it has a few shortcomings that prevent it from being perfect. Here are the highlights. Read below for more details

    ***PROS***
    Comfortable
    Stylish (to my tastes anyway)
    Feels well-made
    Value
Warm- the earflaps keep cold air out of my ears, a big positive.

    ***CONS***
    Goggle incompatibility
    Goggle strap holder not secure

Right out of the box, this helmet seemed to fit well and felt snug, comfortable and warm. The tension adjuster at the back helps adjust the liner so it conforms to your head. I have a pretty average size head and little hair and the medium fit well. The construction felt pretty good- the materials seemed like they were high quality. I was extremely impressed for a helmet that I spent less than $24 on.

The problems started when I tried on my goggles. The brow of the helmet sits pretty low and my goggles wouldn’t fit on my face with the helmet on- they were pushed down too low by the helmet. See the picture showing the googles were actually on top of my nose! I tried another pair of smaller goggles and they were better, but still got pushed down hard enough that it pinched my nose closed making it harder to breath. I’ve only tried one other helmet and it didn’t have this problem- my goggles fit fine with it. I really liked everything else about this helmet and didn’t want to return it. I don’t ski very often, and don’t wear goggles all the time and therefore didn’t want to invest lots of money in a helmet, so I decided to see if I could fix it.

I figured if I could add some padding to the helmet so it sat up a little higher on my head, the goggles would fit better. I stuffed a folded up washcloth (what I had handy, some foam packing material would probably work better) underneath the liner at the top of the helmet. The liner is thick enough that I don’t really notice the extra padding underneath. This is enough to push the brow of the helmet up so that the goggles now fit over my nose. They still pinch my nose slightly, so I might experiment with adding a tad more padding to push the brow up another couple mm. But, this is much better now and will work for days when I need my goggles. Maybe if I had a full head of hair, this wouldn’t be a problem, but with my bald dome, I need some extra height.

One other minor niggle- the hook that catches the elastic goggle strap is not secured to the helmet at all. If you unhook the elastic it will just fall off. That seems like a pretty obvious deficiency in the design. This
also, is fixable. I superglued the hook to the helmet so it won’t fall off and get lost when you unhook the strap.

So, there you have it. The pricing on this helmet (if you can get it on sale) more than makes up for its shortcomings. Some easy modifications can overcome the biggest problems with it. Based on all of the above, I give it 4 stars.

As another reviewer pointed out, the ratcheting synch on the back of this helmet is too low and will dig into your neck if tightened at all. The shell already extends below where these mechanisms usually grab onto your occipital lobe to prevent forward rotation….this being lower still ends up doing the opposite; pushing the front of the helmet forward and downward over your forehead because there isn’t really room for it. It’s….sorta workable if left fully loose, mostly fine until you look up or tilt your head back. I am considering cutting it out if I keep this thing, but obviously that’s an “at your own risk” move.

The rest is decent – liner is comfortable enough, vents work and seem to be easily operable with a nice over-center ‘clack’ and I like the overall shape…there is little enough brim to allow resting goggles just off your face (my last helmet had a brim that pretty effectively prevented this….more annoying than you might think).

Grey color is just about dead on 50% grey …a little lighter than it appears in the photo here and not as taupe.

Considering this is less than half the price of the last helmet I got, it’s probably fine….just make sure you wear it around a bit and look up when you try it on.
