I replaced my stock 1.1 bar cap on a kx85 to monitor the temps for trail riding (which the temp gauge is great) but unfortunately this cap doesn’t hold back more pressure than the stock cap resulting in coolant constantly leaking out of the overflow hose without the motor even past the yellow zone on the temp gauge.

It’s a cool product, but I needed something for a street bike 1.3 bar, for my Kawasaki 650. The price is great compared to an OEM part for my bike, I just wish it was the correct size. I didn’t realize when I bought it that it was 1.8 and why that makes a big difference compared to what I need 1.3. Who knew, it’s a radiator cap right? I just wanted a radiator cap. Unfortunately not all radiator caps are the same, not even for motorcycles or even for cars. Who knew. But it is a cool cap.

Reads temp correct, however it will not hold pressure like it is supposed to causing bike to overheat quickly. Would begin to release pressure around 176° F and that was at operating temperatures. This resulted in loss of coolant and getting exponentially worse as I rode longer. Do not buy for gasgas/ktm/husky. Get digital gauge and keep stock cap.
