Safavieh CPT1010A Teak Outdoor 3-Seat Sofa

LOVE the look of this sofa. I’ve been eyeing it for months and finally bought it. We bought the matching club chairs as well.

Delivery was a challenge. It took 3x ordering the sofa to when we finally received it. Once it arrived, we noticed that the box included 2 of the same side arms vs opposite sides. Amazon directed us to contact the mfg. It took another month to receive the correct arm from Safavieh but they were very helpful.

Aside from shipping challenges and the mistaken arm, we LOVE LOVE LOVE this sofa.

Some people have said that the seat height is to low. I’m 5’6 and my husband is 6’4. If we add a 3-4” block under each leg as some people have done, I’d say the height would be perfect, but as-is, it’s still quite comfortable. Not to low or hard to get in/out of. I’d say 4.5 🌟

NOTE: I did buy the risers, as seen in the pics. They fit perfectly.

The cushions are super thick and comfortable. I definitely recommend getting some decorative lumbar pillows for your back, as the seats are quite deep.

Assembly wasn’t difficult with 2 people. The holes lineup, but could be a little challenging so you may have to insert 1 side, and if the other side won’t go in, dis-assemble and start inserting with the opposite side.

It’s beautiful, modern and looks natural with the cream colored cushions and brown wood.

I applied a wood protectant immediately and plan to reapply it regularly.

I also purchased furniture covers, which really help protect from the sun and rain, but in less than a year, the wood is showing signs of aging already (even with a protective finish and cover.

I was hesitant to buy wood furniture because we’ve bought outdoor wood in the past and it weathered greatly. That said, Im the first to admit that I did not protect that furniture with annual wax/oil to protect it and didn’t have covers.

This time, I made sure to properly care for this furniture the minute it arrived. It’s a beautiful investment!

This couch was easy to assemble, feels well made, and is comfortable to sit on. There’s one big issue with it though…the upholstery is white and every bit of dirt sticks out like a sore thumb.

When it arrived I was shocked to see the white color, my wife said it was the only color available though. We should have purchased a cover for the cushions but at this point it’s probably too late. We’ve had it a relatively short time and it’s already filthy.

Outside of that though, it’s been a great outdoor couch. I’d love to see the company offer darker colored upholstery though.

I love this couch it’s large can fit 5 adults on it comfortably. It’s super heavy wood and great quality. The cushions it’s thick and firm.the couch comes in four parts and it super easy to put together. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars it because it’s very low to the ground. I did buy wood and made 4 feet tall feet to add some height to it.
And it made it perfect. If you are not handy just make shore you are ok with the height before buying. I would totally 💯 recommend this beautiful outdoor couch.

This sofa is sturdy, it’s heavy, the cushions are thick and clean up well. It’s really a quality piece of furniture. My only disappointment is the that the wood is untreated. For an outdoor piece, They need to treat this wood. This wood is fading by the day. It’s color has stripped and we’ve only had it a few weeks =( For that I give it 3 stars. This was a high priced item so the quality should be just as high. If this piece won’t be seeing much sun, you’ll love it.
