Just received these today and I have tested these for the correct capacity, but haven’t tested them for file storage yet. A note on the construction: I have always had the thumb drives that use a sliding mechanism to cover the USB connector but these had a great price and look nice so I decided to try them. I thought that the swivel could be more secure so I took them apart and bent the metal part inward to add tension and keep the swivel from moving around so much. Despite my best efforts, they still feel like the protective metal piece might slide around a bit and uncover the USB connector. Mine will mostly be stored in a box in my desk but on the off chance that I carry one in my pocket, it would be nice if they did a better job of covering the USB end, or just don’t put any cover on at all.

I am using these to backup mp3s on a stick that is on its last legs. These seem to work well, fit well, and 32 gig is a lot of mp3s. A lot, and that’s only one. I see nothing wrong with these.

Purchased to use to turn in project with anticipation that might not get drive back.

I purchased the 2 Pack 32GB USB Flash Drives blue and blue by SamData and I’m very satisfied. The plug-and-play feature works perfectly, and the 360° swivel design is really convenient. They’re compatible with all my devices, including my Windows laptop and Mac. When I plug them into my laptop, they show 29GB instead of 32GB, but this is expected due to formatting. Great value for the price and a solid choice for everyday data storage!

UPDATE: I contacted the seller and they responded quickly and turned my disappointment into a satisfied customer. As I mention in my original review below, I have purchased several drives from this company and all but this item worked great.

I have purchased several SamData external drives before and all worked great. I purchased a larger capacity drive and it is faulty. It keeps flashing a light inside the drive and the cursor is stuck in a perpetual swirl. I have to force quit Finder and pull the drive out without a proper eject.
Now, I’ve wasted my money because Amazon is requiring me to send this $7.99 dud back to get a replacement. That’s not going to happen because I have no idea what is on the drive and I’m not risking sending back a drive with anything one it.
I’m mad as you-know-where.

Purchased to hold photos from old computer. Files transferred with no issues. At the time I got two 32G drives for about $8. I feel like this is a good value for the money. I would consider repurchasing if I needed more in the future. The item met my expectations. I gave only four stars because the movable parts of the item feel thin and not durable.
