My reptile will not eat anything with it on there. I assume the flavor is less than desirable.

I bought for my iguana and use a couple sprays a day on his food. I have had bottles clog up (other brands) but so far so good. It even feels a bit better when sprayed than other brands I have used. More of a solid dispersion kind of feel, it’s difficult to describe. Price is slightly higher than competition brands.

I’m not sure of the flavor since it’s for my lizards but they don’t hate it.

We have a very picky bearded dragon, Mr. Nut Nut who (through trial and error) we found will not eat food dusted with calcium powder. We were using some calcium spray from the pet store but when we ran out I “ran” to Amazon to buy more and stumbled upon this product. I decided to give it a try, mostly because I liked the simpler ingredient list (I think it’s just calcium carbonate and water!) versus the other product we were using which had several ingredients. I was really surprised when the product arrived and the directions gave detailed instruction on how much spray to use, breaking it down by food type (veggies or bugs), eating behavior (carnivore or herbivore) and how much you fed. Our vet recommended powder so we could “see” how much we were giving our beardie, but like I said- he refused to eat food with powder, so finding a spray with such helpful information put my mind at ease that he’s getting the “same” nutrition from a spray that he would a powder, as far as making sure we were using the right amount. We will be returning for more of this stuff when we run out! Thanks JurassiCal!

I’m giving this 5 stars not because of my personal experience but because of a friends experience with the product. My experience- none of my bearded dragons liked it. 1st taste and they shook their heads rapidly and stopped eating. After trying again next day, Theyd smell it on their food and walk away. No matter what food it was, they’d refuse to eat after being sprayed. They rather the powder form.
Friends experience- her Beardies love the spray but not the powder.
So my point is, I can’t give this product a low rating just because it didn’t work for me but I’ve seen for myself that it can work out great for others.
