The baby is coming soon so I figured we need some baby proofing! Disclaimer: I know next to nothing about babies and have never been around them much so if I sound like I have no idea what I’m doing.. it’s true!
So I’m really glad this came with instructions an a small description of the basic function and features (ie what type of proofing is accomplishes) because I would’ve been completely lost.
The corner pieces for furniture and nice and squishy and come with stickers to adhere. I’m not really sure what a door guards purpose is still but there’s that. The outlet covers have a neat tab that pulls out to make removing it easy for adults. The cabinet type door latch took some getting used to and reading the directions multiple times to get it unlocked and figure out how to move the sizing. (Also, there are way more corner pieces, outlets, latches than my pictures shows) I’m happy with this kit though and feel mostly prepared. 😅

This is a great set if you need to secure your cabinets from anyone or anything! I have to secure my cabinets from my nephew when he comes over, and my cat, who likes to open them, and drag everything out!
The set has it all. It even has the baby bumpers which are very nice because those are expensive by themselves and if you don’t need a bunch this should cover you.
My nephew has not been able to open the cabinets and neither has my cat
It definitely makes me feel safer that they can’t get in if I leave them for a second and it makes a lot less clean up for me because my cat can’t dump everything out!
I would highly recommend the set. It’s good quality for the price and they really do work.

This child proof is a great starter kit. It has a lot of the things you will need. The corner pieces are foam though. A soft foam material so I don’t feel like they add a lot of protection. They would also be easy to bite into. With a teething baby we swapped out the soft foam for plastic corner pieces.

While it is important to monitor your child’s movements around your home, it never hurts to have extra layers of protection against potential accidents or injuries, making this purchase an investment well worth it for our family’s peace of mind.

These are safety products designed for use with very young children. So I was surprised to receive a box that was not even sealed with packing tape. Anyone at any point in the shipping process could have lifted the cardboard lid to tamper with the contents–and apparently did, because there were random things inside that were not listed in the Amazon description or in the (very limited ) usage instructions. Moreover, the corner cushioning pieces that had been listed in the description were missing.
Small boxes from Amazon are normally shipped by a “box within a box” packaging method that protects the goods. That was not the case here.
The items that I expected to get–cabinet locks and outlet covers–seem fine. I tested an outlet cover, and it does the job. I had intended to include them as part of a baby shower gift, but they will have to be thoroughly washed and repackaged before I would feel comfortable using them. They are not giftable, IMHO.
A disappointing buying experience.

FATAL FLAW with the outlet covers… my 2 year old quickly saw how they opened and was able to slide the handle down and pull it out in no time! so..those dont work well…. Plus the more simple drawer tie things are kind of hard to figure out at first, but once my 2 year old saw those too she figured it out on her own pretty quickly … Maybe my little one is crafty. But skip the ties and definitely skip the outlet covers.
