機械式の時計は使っている限りメンテナンスが不要で使いやすいです。個人的には色も濃いブルーで気に入ってます。目立つ時計ではありませんが、私の所有感は高いです。その他の時計を使って止まってしまったときも時間・曜日日付の調整も楽です。

Had been wanting an SKX for some time and this is basically the same thing without the dive rating. I don’t need the dive rating, and this went on a sale for Black Friday so I finally pulled the trigger.

This thing is nice. Fits well on the wrist. The band is easy to adjust. The weight is solid but not overbearing like some other watches I own. Been fairly accurate so far as well. Definitely going to be my new daily driver.

The lume on this thing is no joke as well. I went to bed and 8 hours later it was still readable. Also, pics seem to make the lume look blue for some reason. It’s actually green.

UPDATE: I’ve had this for 5 months now and I still love it. I’ve bought a bunch of different bands to use with it, and unfortunately the spring system broke on one of the stock spring bars when I pressed it a bit hard trying to get it out. You just need a thicker spring bar as a replacement if you want to use the included band again (which I go back to often). I’ve been pretty consistently -15 seconds a day. It gains time if I leave it off at night, but I sleep with it on. Adjusting the time every few days isn’t really a big deal for me and considering +/- 45 seconds is the spec for this movement I’m not mad. Definitely worth the purchase. No issues so far with scratching the PVD coating. Everything still looks as good as when I got it.

Before I bought the watch, I was skeptical about the size and how it would look, but it fit nicely. What I liked:

– Size: the 42mm size was perfect for my 6.8in wrist. Not too big, not heavy and wears nicely.
– Movement: Quality movement, can feel the “clickeness” of the crown winding, accurate.
– Color: Mesmerizing deep green dial and bezel, but looks almost black when not exposed to light. To me, I feel like it adds variety to the color.

What I don’t like is the bracelet – dull looking on top of the links being shaky and unsturdy but the clasp is nice and secure. Wouldn’t consider the bracelet an issue as it wears great.

Overall: Still 5/5, perfect fit and a beautiful color. Would consider buying another color.

THIS BLUE SEIKO 5 IS A TESTAMENT TO SEIKO’S WORLD CLASS ATTENTION TO FORM AND FUNCTION. IT’S FIT, WEIGHT, AND EYE APPEAL…TOP NOTCH. FEELS VERY MUCH AT HOME ON THE WRIST.

Bought this watch to replace a Seiko sports watch that I bought in 1995 that the seals were no longer waterproof in, have had this watch in the Atlantic Ocean several times in the past month and have had no problems with the waterproofing of it it looks great and keeps good time I hope I can get29 years out of this one, quality product at a decent price.
