I appreciated that they packed this mini mouth harp nicely and tried to make it feel special, but with the discolored coppery-silver color metal and rough twine cord, I was not feeling like putting this into my mouth at all. When I tried, the metal pinched my lip and then I could barely get this to make a sound. I got the hang of it after a while but then the metal tasted so awful I decided to give up. Could have been fun, perhaps with better instructions and better coated metal.

The sound it makes is very weak, therefore it’s very hard if you are a beginner.
I had very low expectations and somehow they still managed to disappoint me.

I think this is a decent Jaw Harp, but I don’t really know how to play one. I got this more as a novelty, and it’s definitely fun. I’ve watched some tutorials online and can get this to make a pretty decent sound, though I can’t actually control it all that well yet. It looks good and the wood block is less of a case and more of a holder to protect the harp prong. Definitely wash it off really well before putting it in your mouth, mine had all sorts of dust and grime on it left over from its original manufacture. For the price, I assume this isn’t a super high end Jaw harp, but as far as I can tell, it’s definitely 5 stars for the price. I’m having a lot of fun with it.

This mouth harp did not come with any instructions. I ordered it as kind of a novelty, as I do enjoy playing music. I watched a few YouTube videos about proper technique, but honestly, none of the sounds that I was able to make with this instruments were anything like what I expected. Overall, it’s been a bit frustrating, but I’ll keep trying.
