Years ago my boy bun had issues with poopy butt. I tried changing up his hay (different “brands”, different cuttings. Tried troubleshooting the type and quantity if greens in his diet. All of my bunnies were getting what was the most recommended “O” brand of pellets. Wasn’t until I started researching rabbit GI sensitivities and came across Sherwood that I found the answer. Turned out to be sensitivity to the sugars (molasses) and fillers in the pellets. Transitioned all of my bunnies to Sherwood pellets and immediately saw major improvement. My bunnies are over 10 years old now and still doing great on Sherwood!

MY FAVORITE!!! I started in oxbow for my rabbits when I first hit them but found this brand online and eventually switched over. After having experience using both I can say that Sherwood is my favorite!!! I find it to be a little firmer than oxbows pellets, which helps keep teeth growth at bay. I also enjoy the larger sizes!

My recently adopted Bunny started to have some digestive issues and very low energy. After a lot of research I found answers and this amazing rabbit food. This food is free of unnecessary additives like soy and molasses that can be unhealthy for some bunnies. It is hay based and just what our bunnies need for optimum health. I was able to get a hold of Sarah, one of the reps for Sherwood Pet Health and she spent time with me going over my bunnies symptoms and recommended the Sherwood foods that would be best for my Rabbit. They offer several types of food for different types of bunnies as well as nutritional supplements and digestive aids to help you keep your bunny healthy and living longer. I have followed Dr. Sherwoods advice from his video on the website and Sarahs advice and my mega-colon bunny is now doing much better. Feeding my bun this food and the supplements really has made a huge difference . She is back to her happy zoomy binky self. I highly recommend Sherwood Pet Health Products.

My Texas TAMU rabbits are a mix that includes Flemish Giants. They weigh 14lbs and almost 13lbs. For the first 2 years of their lives, I fed them cheap pellets from Walmart, they shed in prolific clouds, the fur would poof up and choke the air like pollen in the South. It was dreadful, especially since everyone in the house is allergic to them except for me. (oops) A friend of mine, Christie created Lucie’s Legacy, a natural dog food that improved health and fur loss. So I started digging for something similar for rabbits. And Sherwood was one of a few we tried. Sherwood was the only pellet that was natural without harmful starchy sugary fillers that can cause diabetes and kidney issues.

I was expecting to improve my bun’s health, I did not expect much at all for the clouds of fur. But WOW… my obese bunnies didn’t like the pellets at first, so I slowly integrated it with the cheap fast food from walmart which they LOVED like bunny crack. The buns eventually became accustomed, they slimmed down to a healthy size and the FUR, omg… the fur clouds stopped!!! They barely shed anymore and that used to be our biggest problem!

Recently, Sherwood had issues filling their product orders and we ran out and had to reduce to emergency timothy hay only pellets. My buns were pissed! Where is our good food Mom!!! I was threatened with grunts and lunges. lol I bought a big 40lb box from Sherwood so we’re set for awhile. And my buns are happy again. Thank you Dr. Sherwood and staff! We love you product and hope you stay in business forever!

I’ve been using Sherwood products for a few years now. I think they are the best pellets available and I appreciate the science behind their products. Previously, these were a treat for my bunny but he is 11 years old and post dental surgery, will no longer eat hay or hard pellets. When we switched to assist feeding, he began over producing cecotropes and I read on-line this is caused by too much sugar. These pellets are timothy based and the list of ingredients is far shorter than other options. I began grinding & mixing them with critical care/recovery food to cut down on the sugar (3 tsp of ground Sherwood + 2 tsp other recovery food per feeding). This really helped cut down on the quantity of cecotropes he produces and improved the quality (even I could smell how bad some of them were!). Our vet and nail trimmer have commented on how beautiful his coat is, especially in an 11 year old bunny. I share credit with Sherwood for their quality food. They are well worth the money and not over-priced as compared to other pellets on the market. I will always have these pellets on hand for him.

My rabbit was sick and had loose stools. The vet had me take him off all veggies. That was a mistake because he ate more pellets and I did not understand what more measured feed of a sub par food would do. I found a video from a breeder that explained everything about rabbit nutrition. I changed to this food and he refused all other brands but his first food. He loved it! He eats just the right amount and has his leafy greens snd hay. He is healthier, happier, and his fur is luxurious. Thank you for making this food for our buns!
