Christine –
These were used for about a month and then started tearing at the waistline just from putting them on and taking them off a few times. Poor quality. The waistline was a tad small for my liking but overall fit ok. The cup is great and stays in place. I cannot wear these any longer due to tearing though.

I study Shou Shu, a self defense martial art, and was in need of groin protection for groin strikes. These shorts are comfortable. After I got over the initial feeling of something different I totally forgot I was wearing them during my workout. They give complete protection during strikes. Because I did not need the velcro sock attachments I used a thread cutter to remove them from the shorts to make them more comfortable. I am a size 4-6 and I ordered the medium, they fit great.
Cassandra Jordan –
The waistband is tight for the size listed. I typically wear a M but am most comfortable in an XL
Marissa C –
Bought these after not being on the ice in years. Fit was great and true to sizing, I barely even notice when I have them on! Offers good protection and is overall super comfortable and my go-to recommendation for anyone stepping out onto the ice.
Billie –
I ordered a size smaller the. Her normal side.
Ashley Nefzger –
Very comfortable. Can’t even tell that you’re wearing it under the rest of the gear. The velcro for the socks even though it’s small, is on both sides of the front and back of the leg and holds the socks up very well. Overall very impressed and would recommend

Comfortable fit

I ordered these for Krav Maga and found them to be exactly what I was looking for. They run a bit snug; I usually wear mediums and these do fit but if I had any extra padding on me whatsoever they would not. The elastic is wonderfully wide and comfortable (I’m picky about that) and is also snug. They’re flattering, too. I took the velcro tabs off the thighs, front and back, because I’m just wearing them as shorts over compression shorts so as to have the benefit of the pelvic protector. And that — the protector — has been quite good so far, providing protection for both kicks and hits to the groin. I may order another pair they’re so good.
A word on getting the protector in and out, because someone else commented on this in a review. There is a velcro-sealed flap on the side away from your body, towards the shorts themselves. Open that and you can slide the protector out. I was hoping to be able to pop it in when I was wearing the shorts, but I pretty much had to take them off to get it in, or at least pull them down to do so. But I’m glad the velcro’s not on the body side, as that would be uncomfortable. All in all, I’m glad they are designed the way they are.
One last thing: I ran the pelvic protector through the wash and dryer a few times by accident, apparently with no ill effect. You probably don’t want to do it all the time, but if you goof, it won’t ruin it immediately.

I think these are nice quality but SO SMALL. I bought XL and the waistband was too suffocating (5’7″, 140 lbs, usually wear M or L). The shorts part and jill would have fit otherwise. I can’t speak to the quality since I returned them.

This was a gift for my ice hockey playing daughter-in-law, it is what she asked for.
