This feels comfortable next to skin and the zippers are quiet. Having a built-in facemask with hood means one less thing to carry, and the facemask is both breathable and keeps my face warmer on chilly mornings. On Long Island the deer often look up to check for tree stands and I’ve been stared at by deer numerous times, usually when they’re 20 yards or less from me. So long as I remain pretty still (and the wind doesn’t work against me) the deer figure they’re just imagining things and go back to browsing after a minute or two. The pattern is great for elevated hunting.
The sleeves have thumbholes and a built in flip-over mitten top that’s a light fabric but gives a bit more coverage when sitting and waiting for the next deer to appear. Also the length is generous so riding up is not an issue.
