Pros:
Quick startup time.
You don’t have to touch the thermometer to a surface to measure its temperature.
Intuitive operation in measuring people’s temperature. Consistent results; mostly matched previous temperature taken and closely matched the most reliable (kitchen cooking instant read) thermometer in my home with test temps.
Very clear alarm beeping when temperature is high (99.5 F and up or 37.5 C and up).
Fairly clear instructions, though still had some typos. In reviewing them I learned there’s a button on the side with an S on it to switch to object mode before measuring object surface temperatures.
Batteries included!
Cons:
Very hard to get the ear reading cover off. The directions say squeeze and pull and lift up. I got it off once but wasn’t able to the second or third times I tried. I had to hold the thermometer so tightly the battery cover slid off instead. In a stressful situation, if my children were sick and in distress.
It’s a little complicated to “press the Celsius / Fahrenheit button during shutdown” to enter the memory mode and review temps you have scanned. You have to watch for the screen to turn off, then press the button. Then I got distracted in the middle of reviewing what I’d scanned and the screen went dark. I pressed the C/F button to continue in memory mode, and it started over at the most recent 1 scan. Not a feature that I’m planning to use often.
Paperwork includes a QR code that has been disabled, a website link to a video training series that had a 404 page not found error so was not actually included.
Conclusion:
I feel this is quicker and more reliable than the main forehead thermometer I’ve been using with my children, as long as I’m not trying to read their temperature in the ear canal. I’m planning for this to replace that thermometer.
tldr:
Will replace my less reliable forehead thermometer. Not planning to use for ear temperatures.

When I received it and I couldn’t get it to pull a correct reading I thought maybe the batteries were faulty, so I replaced those batteries thinking this would fix the problem, but it didn’t fix it. It was reading like 93 degrees and Idk for sure but I feel like I would need to be at the hospital if I was that cold lol. I think I may have just received a faulty thermometer it may have been beat around in shipping not really sure but I have tried several different techniques to get it to work just on the forehead or near the forehead and was never able to get an accurate reading.

While the accuracy of this unit is Ok (forehead readings were a bit low, but I find this to be pretty typical), it is very clumsy in use. The ear cover may not be impossible to get off, but I haven’t been able to do it yet. Ought to be easy enough: just press in the sides while pulling up. But they only thing that slides off when I do that is the battery cover. It slides off too easily. It’s also very easy to accidentally press the toggle switches on the side that move between temperature modes.
On the plus side, it does seem fairly accurate to me and it’s very fast. The manual is decent and despite some typos and the obligatory tiny print, it’s readable. But it’s just printed on a large foldable piece of paper, so expect to have that floating around in your bathroom drawers for the next few years.
Its worth is in its multifunctionality, but if you can’t easily use the ear function, what’s the point of it?

OK, now that the disclaimer is done … this is a very handy and useful device. In this day of Covid, and yearly flus et. al. it is important to have an accurate and easy to use thermometer handy. The ThermoPRO fits the bill. It provides an accurate temperature in about 1 second, without contact. No putting it in your mouth. No waiting for it to measure the temperature. Hit the button to turn it on, put it up to your forehead, hit the button again, and BEEP. In one second, your have your temperature. Because it came from your forehead, add one degree (F).
Or, remove the cover, and take your temperature in your ear. I don’t – too much effort. And it is hard getting that cover off – at least for the first couple of times. The instructions will tell you how much to add to the reading for an accurate result.
You can also take the temperature of the room at large, or any object in the room. There is a button on the side to select for that option – and to switch between degrees F or C.
Too much chatter. This product comes with good, clear instructions, is easy to use, and does the job. That makes it a winner in my book. Recommended!

This thermometer is simply amazing. You can use it one or two ways. Non-Contact for the forehead or by the ear. It will measure your temperature in just one second. It also comes with two AAA Duracell batteries. For the non-contact you simply hold the thermometer about 1.18 inches away from the center of your forehead and press the button. I’m very pleased with the technology of this amazing thermometer. I’ve already had to use it a few times since receiving it. I highly recommend this thermometer for your family.

My first experience with a forehead/ear thermometer. I have found it to be fairly accurate without actually having to touch the skin. It has a large digital reading and warning beeps for high temp. I haven’t had any luck using the ear thermometer but don’t really need it. It is a good value for the money.

This is a really nice looking thermometer. I love that it does the temporal readings but also the ear as well! It’s sleek and easy to use. You can even just check the temperature in your house. The batteries easily slip into the back and it’s ready to use! No instructions needed. I would definitely recommend it during cold/flu season but it’s very handy to have year-round!
