MYOB –
Great value, easy to use and works well. Didn’t really think I needed one, as I have a pretty good tone ear but, at this price, it was hard to say no and I’m glad I got one as it takes the guess work out of tuning… which I had to do from scratch after replacing a set of strings. The clip holds it on very well, and the screen is adjustable enough to be read from any angle.

not one, not two, but three tuners in this 3 pack! coincidence? nope! it’s a 3 pack and i needed all 3…RAD!!!!
denny time –
good price works well
John –
Good price and works well on 6 string guitars, does NOT work very good on an electric bass.
Patti & Kevin Stafford –
This tuner ONLY picks up vibrations from the instrument you’re tuning and ignores any noise in the room, no matter how loud. Picks up on the note instantly, even when the string is gently plucked. Much better than expected.

For the price, this tuner is good! I compared it to apps and it’s very accurate! Highly recommend.

Worthless piece of junk. Did not come with battery, and the battery compartment is impossible to open, resulting in injury when trying to open it with hand tools. These small, cheap tuners from China are highly inaccurate anyway, Free guitar-tuning apps are available for digital devices, and these apps work much better than these garbage cheapo useless wastes of time. Learn from the mistakes of others (like me) and go a different route.

We bought an ukulele for a child’s upcoming 4th birthday, and the tuner was ordered as part of that gift. Given the age of the child, I expect this to be used by her parents in case the child actually wants to learn to play simple songs on it. We tested out EVERYTHING once the gift arrived, tuner included. It comes with a button battery (another reason to keep the thing out of reach of any child that still puts choking hazards into their mouths–plus it’s a BATTERY). The tuner itself is VERY small–a lot smaller than I many other clip-on tuners I’ve seen–but it works just as well. You need to clip the tuner to the ukulele. I clipped it to the top of the headstock. The tuner lights up to indicate whether or not the string is in tune. Blue means out of tune, green means in tune. Simple. It also has options for guitar, violin, bass, and chromatic tuning, so it can be used for other instruments. Make sure you have the correct option selected when you start tuning.
I do admit, because you have to be very, very careful with new strings when you tune, I trusted my ear more and just used my keyboard to do the initial tuning. But that’s just me. After the strings were properly tightened, I used the tuner to re-tune during the several times the strings would go out of pitch (because that’s what new strings do until they are broken in). This was very helpful to have since I did want to make sure the uke strings were broken in enough that they wouldn’t be WAY off pitch–although I doubt the little girl would care.
Not only do I recommend this tuner, I plan to buy another one as soon as I can because I want one for my ukuleles and guitars. My much more expensive tuner literally fell apart with just normal use, and I’m currently toting an actual tuning fork around in my instrument cases!
