This bow will without a doubt out perform just about any bow up to the $1k price point. It’s quiet, forgiving, light, fast and built extremely well.

This bow, in my opinion, is the most comfortable, easy to shoot, compound bow for under $300. Shot well over 100 arrows and the bow always shoots tight groupings. If you are looking for one of the cheaper compound bows on Amazon, with a known name, this is the way to go. Guaranteed you’ll be happy. Have zero complaints.

if You’re seriously thinking of buying please take some time to read!!
I start by saying I DO NOT SPEAK FOR EVERYONE!!
I bought the bow roughly a week ago, yes I know that is not enough time for a full review but like I said I will give regular updates, so far this bow is absolutely a great purchase (knock on wood)!! I have had absolutely no problems, in the original review I stated that I put all the equipment that came off my old bow on it, well I have made a couple changes, I did end up having to break down and buy another sight, I got the “Trophy Ridge joker 4 pin”, due to the cheaper “Trophy Ridge Mist 3 pin” stripping out on me (completely my fault) ,but I am really glad I got the joker ran me roughly $25 at local Walmart (I think same price online), I also took off the old “Trophy Ridge Whisker Biscuit” and purchased a “Trophy Taker XFC Drop away rest” ran me roughly $30 at local Walmart (I’ve seen them go for $80 online, but almost positive you could get one a lot cheaper, also have been shooting “Gold Tip Cutdown 400 29” arrows” so I give you my full layout to say that with all of my newer equipment I could not be happier with the bow, it shoots amazingly straight and super quiet (might I add I still don’t have limbsavers on it yet so it could be even quieter), but this bow is amazing, it was fresh out of the box with peep, d-loop, and string silencers pre-installed (thumbs up for that), I will say the d-loop is in the cheaper side so may wanna change it after a few hundred shots (to be on the safe side), now when it comes to the string I can guarantee that you will get a lot of shots before needing to change it (if properly maintained) I wax mine after every shoot, I do plan to change it soon, not because I have to, but because I want to change the accents on it to red and I want red string, so string is fine, I read where people’s draw length screws backed out I have not had that problem (knock on wood again), the 80% “let-off” Is super nice I’ve been shooting non stop for 4 days and The only problem I’m having is there’s not enough time to shoot some more, so if you’re seriously considering getting the SAS Destroyer I strongly recommend, once again I do not speak for everyone this is just my personal experience and opinion, if anyone buys one and/or has bought on and has any problems please leave a comment I would love to hear about them and maybe save myself some trouble if it’s preventable, and if I can help anyone I would be glad to “happy hunting guys”

so far its a great shooting bow, it finds the sweet spot very easy in your hand, draws smooth. I haven’t crono-ed the speed yet but at 60lbs it seems pretty fast. Zero vibration with limb savers installed. For a “low end bow” it is on par with every bear, pse, golden eagle, hoyt that i have ever shot. Build quality it spot on nothing loose all servings are good and tight no cam lean. I have run about 300 shots through it and its a shooter for sure. I don’t know about the rest of the SAS lineup but if they are anything like this one then go for it.
Update- about a month into owning this bow all i can say is WOW!! And not just the bow southland archery has been more than awesome about emails and questions I have had. Now lets talk shooting first off if you want to make the hoyt and mathews guys mad then buy this bow take it to a league or a tournament and out shoot them they will come up and ask what your shooting and then how much! Then they give it a look and then give you “the look!” Its the crap i overpaid. In the month since my purchase I would say easily 1500-2000 arrows later it has only gotten better and better. First comp shooting i shot 281/300 the target in my pics was from a practice round I shot. Its a fantastic product that you don’t see much of but it is worth every penny.

This bow shoots extremely well. It is light weight, has really great quality parts for the price. I cannot believe how accurate it is, and how powerful it is out of the box. It only took a little bit of time to assemble the accessories. The bow is great size, and I would feel comfortable taking big game with it ethically. It is stable, and it shoots great! I will be sure.to test it thoroughly! Thanks SAS!
