It’s a cheap gooseneck kettle and it gets the job done with some quirks;
– turns off immediately when it reaches temperature (a little annoying for pour overs when you want to put the kettle on, go do something else, and come back to water that is ready to go)
– offers precision temperature readout but only very coarse settings at odd intervals (if you want to dial in the temp to the exact degree, look elsewhere)

I recently purchased this kettle and have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, it is absolutely adorable—definitely a 100% in that department! I appreciate that it doesn’t have any obtrusive brand names on the kettle itself, which adds to its charm. If there was nothing else, I would have rated this 5 stars.
There are a few drawbacks that I feel compelled to mention. The on/off button requires two presses: one to wake it up and another to turn it on. Additionally, the beep sound that accompanies each button press is quite loud. The temperature selection starts at 212°F, and you have to press the minus button to lower the temperature each time, as there’s no last memory function or favorite setting selection. Also, the keep warm function presents an error if you lift the kettle off the base, which is frustrating. While i agree may seem minor or nitpicking, it would have been enough to warrant a four-star rating.
However, the most significant issue, is the inaccuracy of the temperature readings. Here’s a breakdown of the discrepancies I encountered:
