My son loves it! I wish I didn’t rent a violin. The quality is great and it is such a better value!

Delivered on time. My daughter loved it
Reviewer from Georgia, USA –
This student violin is lovely, high quality, and sounded pretty good right out of the box. My 9 year old son is now in his third month of lessons and we are very happy with our purchase. I feel like this was a great combination of quality and affordability for us. Nice enough to go the distance, but affordable enough to purchase rather than rent. We wanted to purchase to give our son a feeling of commitment to learning it. Our instructor was very impressed with this violin and said she thought it was an excellent choice.
The only additional things we’ve had to purchase are the instruction book and a Kun shoulder rest recommended by the instructor.

Excellent beginner violin. I researched before purchasing and decided to go with this one because it’s a well known brand coupled with good reviews. My daughter’s teacher commented on the build quality and sound, stating that it was one of the better ones he’s come across.
We’ve owned this since September and my daughter plays it daily. It’s held up wonderfully. The bow needs to be restrung at this point but that’s to be expected. The rosin that came with it was actually decent as well, though we’ve since upgraded (only because she lost it, haha). All in all, a good student violin.

This was the first violin we purchased online. We usually get them at a local shop. But this violin was well crafted and a great buy. The case is fantastic and the bow impeccable. Itβs perfect for the young violinist.

We were excited to get this violin for my kids’ 1st violin for elementary school. It was beautiful and the perfect size for our kid. We learned how to tune it through the internet and through the school. Nothing held for more than a minute or two. The tuning peg holes seem to have been bored out fit the tuning pegs that were unfinished. The tuning pegs should have been tapered down, so after tightening/loosening, the string holds the peg firm to the tuning holes and does not slip. Since the holes were bored out and the tuning pegs are not tapered, the tuning pegs continually slip and cannot stay in tune.
As 1st time violin owners, we did not realize all the steps needed to prep a violin for proper assembly and how many steps this particular violin did not undertake. Only after going to a couple music shops in the area to figure out the tuning (wanted a couple of opinions before returning) did we learn all these things that were done incorrectly. None of the music shops were able to keep it tuned, stated why the tuning pegs and holes were ruined, and said it would be nearly as expensive replacing all the parts needed, than to just buy a properly assembled violin. So we have now rented a proper violin to avoid all of this hassle again, and have returned this one from Amazon. If you get one that can stay in tune, great, you won the lottery. Otherwise, you are one of many that tried to save some money and now have an improperly assembled violin.

This is the worst student violin ever. Our daughter was forced to use a school owned violin bc this would not stay in tune for more than a day. I contacted Amazon and was going to be charged a 25% restocking fee to return. I attempted to contact Stentor (manufacturer) on multiple occasions and have gotten no reply! Unfortunately a waste of a lot of money. I should have bought the least expensive student model.
Savvy shopper –
I got this for my daughter who is in her 3rd year of violin. It is a lot better than the hire violin from the music school and very beautifully made. Recommended.
shivashish –
the violin gives out reasonably good sound for the modest money I spent to buy it.

Malisima atenciΓ³n, nunca me llego y tampoco se comunicaron conmigo para decirme que pasaba con el instrumento, tuve que comprar otra marca, cuando la que necesitaba era ese violin π».

My kid loves it. I do not know how it compares to other violins in the price range but I can say it’s finished nicely, the workmanship is clean, the action is good, the bridge is properly mounted and the case is real nice. Tone quality is subjective. I would characterize it as loud. I would prefer a tone slightly warmer and less “middy” but I expect you would not find that for less than twice the price of this. Recommended.
