I got this to brush our boxer who is shedding so much in the heat. It grabs the hairs and holds it until I release the bristles. It’s so easy to use, my dogs love it, and it so easy to clean. It glides thru their hair wet or dry and doesn’t pull at all. We love it.

I bought this to use on my lab and shepherd. It works great! The tines are coated at the tips which makes it safer to use and more gentle on their skin than straight wire. You still need to use a light pressure to be safe but the brush still works well at removing tons of hair. It is so easy to clean the hair from the brush by just pressing the button, the tines retract and then you can just wipe the hair from the brush. I am very happy to have found this brush for my dogs. It is well made and easy to use. I highly recommend it.

This Self Cleaning Slicker Brush has turned my grooming nightmares into a comedy show! 😂 As a pet parent to a German Shepherd puppy (aka the Fur Factory) and a cat with delusions of lionhood, managing their shedding used to be like trying to vacuum a tornado. Enter the slicker brush—my new best friend!
First off, the self-cleaning feature is pure sorcery. One click and POOF! The fur disappears like my motivation on a Monday morning. No more yanking out clumps of hair from the brush like it’s a spaghetti fork. It’s like a magic trick, but without the top hat and rabbit.
My pets are all about it too. The brush is so gentle, my dog actually stopped his dramatic Oscar-winning performance of “Escape from Grooming.” Now he sits there, eyes half-closed, like he’s at a spa. It works more gentle than my ferminator brush and is gentle on the skin and hair. I removed so much hair the first use. The brush is solid, good quality, easy to use, no pain to my dogs, and excellent at removing excess hair. The results are amazing! Highly recommend this. This is my second time buying this brush (new puppy chewed the original after I had it for about two years) and it is the absolute best! Price is extremely affordable, the soft tips are gentle on my dogs’ skin and the easy cleaning with the retracting brush is unbelievably convenient. I wish it came in bigger sizes too! Highly recommend to any pet owner. I have two dogs and it works great on both their fur types. One is a husky-shepherd so the fur is thicker and the other is a golden retriever mix and his fur is longer. The brush is effective on both of them and super easy for me to use on the daily.
