Targus 16 Inch Rolling Travel Laptop Case (TBR003US)

Bought this rolling laptop bag for work, mainly because I had pulled out my neck/shoulder from carrying a laptop bag that was too heavy! Features: padding inside for your laptop, lots of space, pockets, slim shape for easy storage when traveling, or just passing people in the office hallway, and of course the wheels for walking to my car / to the office. Durable fabric, well constructed. Recommend this laptop bag!

I bought this bag as I’m in the collage and my new laptop is way too heavy to be carried in my old hand-held laptop bag, especially around a huge collage building. I’m utterly thrilled with this bag, the handle is sturdy and long enough, and I’m a tall person with long arms, So, long enough handle in any carry-on or suitcase is extremally important to me, for a comfortable use, and this bag’s handle is acing that requirement of mine. The fact that this handle is also not only retractable but you can hide it in the zippable pouch when not in use is a amazing addition.
The whole bag is truly durable, I’m using this bag for about 7 months now and no ware & tare of any kind is visible so far, and I put to this bag, not only my heavy, wide & bulky laptop, but heavy and extra long charger since my PPC is professional, and this bag holds also a few usb-cables, a mouse, a cooling pad and extra large mouse pad, a controller, Headphones, BL glasses, ID, recorder, LogBook, usb sticks, wallet & few pens, So it is quite a lot of different items, of a different shapes, length & weight, some less bulky than others but still, this bag is holding it all, and more if I want to pack anything else, and none of the items I pack to it, is ever misshapen or broken in any way.
The wheels of this bag (at this point) are a little crooked / slanted, and I did not realized that, until I got to write this review, as in order to write the most accurate an honest review I inspected the bag in details as was writing this. I’m not sure when this happened, or if the wheels where like that in the beginning, but if I wouldn’t inspect them at this very moment I wouldn’t know about this ‘’issue’’ and they still working perfectly, and they never did NOT work perfectly, as seven months of constant use passed and they never felt ‘’choppy’’ nor they did stop the wheels from turning while they were in use, so it’s a proof, at least for me, that this is not a real problem. After all they worked and still are working and nothing seems to indicate they would stop working at any point in the near future, and who knows, maybe they supposed to be like that, maybe they were like that from the beginning (a specific design to make the wheels work better, or be more resistant to a breakage) and I never looked, so I will never know. Beside that, the wheels have some wear & tear, but I consider it normal and it would be weird if after prolong use, they would look like brand new.
Surprisingly the rest of the bag looks like new, no scrapes, so loose threads of material, all zippers work same good as in the beginning and a Velcro is also same strong as it was in the beginning.
I really love this bag and I do recommend it for carrying books, Electronics, clothing, and using it for school or work, and for travel.
I do include the picture of this carry-on for a better review experience, as well as the video, but in advance I apologize for the video quality, as I had to video-tape it holding camera at the same time and yet I was rotating and opening the pockets of this carry-on, which proofs difficult doing it on my own. Nonetheless, I hope this review helps you make your decision about buying this carry-on bag.

I purchased this rolling backpack to replace my daughter’s high school backpack that I was currently using for travel. Her backpack was getting a bit old and didn’t quite fit everything that I needed for a five day stay in another city. I’m a light traveler and don’t really like taking a full carry on or checking a bag, so I thought this was a good option. I was a little skeptical about this rolling backpack actually fitting under the seat of the plane in front of me but I purchased it anyway and thought I’d give it a try. Let me tell you this rolling backpack is amazing. I arrived at the airport early and picked up my favorite Starbuck’s beverage and sat down on those horribly uncomfortable seats at the terminal. I was doing a little light reading before boarding the plane so I put the backpack in front of me and comfortably propped my legs up on it. I took it on the plane as a backpack and I did have to turn it sideways to get it under the seat, but it did fit and that will depend on the airline and where you are sitting. As I got off the plane I undid the flap for the wheels and tucked the handles under the flap to hold them in place. The handle is the perfect height for me at 5’8″, I didn’t have to bend to hold onto the handle. It worked beautifully while traveling through the airport and getting onto the lightrail train. The wheels glide smooth on the concrete and carpet and seem to be very sturdy. The amount of pockets made it easy to stash various items in different locations. It has a nice mesh pocket on the side that I used to put my sunglass case for easy access. The pocket on the inside is large and fit my small laptop computer, iPad and a large eye shadow case. Unfortunately, as you will see from the photo of the back, someone had stuck gum under the seat in front of me and it stuck to one of the backpack handles. Nothing a little ice and elbow grease won’t fix. All in all, this backpack saved my shoulder from added weight while traveling and I didn’t feel like I had to stuff my items while traveling.
