TCL 65 Inch Q6 QLED 4K Smart TV with Google TV

I have a 75″ screen and the picture is outstanding! The colors are vibrant and the picture is very bright. You will need to make adjustments to get the picture just the way you like it, but once you do, you won’t be disappointed!

Very impressed with this 75″ TV. I was a little nervous both buying a “bargain” brand tv and having it deliver via Amazon. This was my first tv not bought in a brick and mortar store. Both fears were unfounded.

The tvs display is fantastic and blows my previous Phillips 4K 65 in out of the water in ever facet. The picture is very, very good, and 4k content on this display is simply amazing. I also saw some complaining about apps, but that negative review is simply not true. I have installed Max, YouTube, Peacock, Vudu, Netflix, Prime, and Hulu with zero issues. Interface is great and responsive. Negative review must be a user error, I suggest reading the manual or try Google.

Delivery was also great. Amazon was professional and communication was great. They updated via email and the Amazon app. Zero damage to the box and set up was pretty easy.

Very pleased with my purchase and highly recommended based on my experience.

I seen recently that TCL had stepped their game up with their Q series TVs when I went to checked them out in person at Best Buy. Keep in mind this is only two models down from TCLs highest rated tv so it definitely has beautiful colors. So I decided to grab this one up and save about $150+ bucks from the fire tv I originally wanted. I will say I recommend playing with the picture quality settings they have preset to see what you like once you do that, the video quality goes way up and suits to what you like the most definitely makes a world of difference.

The picture above does not really do the quality justice because taking a picture of a tv screen will never have quality or capture the true capabilities of the TV. If your looking to save some money but need an upgrade to your place look no further. This is the best bang for your buck and it will truly compete with some of the top competitors like Sony or Samsung.
I also bought a HW650 Samsung Dolby atomos sound bar on sale to go with the audio system installed and it sounds amazing and exceeds the bar.

So a bit of a tech nerd here, I have an LG OLED and a Samsung QLED for reference. I wanted a nicer newer tv for the basement for my kids and their PS5, Plex, Netflix etc. This tv fit the bill for price while still offering dolby vision, which many budget tv’s don’t support.

Hooked it up to a vizio soundbar and it’s a nice setup. The picture is pretty good for a non-OLED and most users will be happy.

Here’s my issue. It’s slowwww. I also have an nvidia shield pro, so I’m used to the google tv format, but loading every app and navigation is painful. I have a wifi6e mesh system, but that’s not even an issue because I have this hardwired through a gig network. There’s no excuse for the sluggishness. My kids don’t seem to mind, but it’s annoying that a cheap roku stick on my older vizio via wifi is light speed compared to this tv. Also plex doesn’t seem to work despite a bunch of troubleshooting.

I’m holding out hope that some more software/firmware updates will remedy this, but I can’t give this tv more than 3 stars and I’d caution most users who are used to quick smart tv response.
