My Wife said there’s less buffering with her Firesticks. I did extend it off my existing Router into another room.

I’ve been using this Tenda model for several months now. It turned out to be a very reliable router. Over the last month we had multiple power outages accompanied with power spikes which damaged several electronic devices (like cordless phone sets, adapters, garage door opener controller, etc.). This product remained unaffected, it didn’t even require a reset or rebooting! So I am quite happy with it. With its 5 antenna it provides good coverage and good speeds. Typically our smartphones can download in excess of 100 Megabit per second except when we are in the most fringe areas where we still see better than 15 to 20 Megabits per second. Overall this is a very good product. I am glad I purchased it.

The setup process via the app is a little confusing. Just read each step thoroughly. You can do it! Once setup it’s a pretty robust unit overall with great signal and range for either band. Speed testing has shown good speeds at far ends of a 3800sq ft one story. Impressive for ~30+ dollars.
The firmware is pretty robust with setting for most needs.

When I first saw this product, I thought it would be a good idea because not only it has good reviews but it’s cheap. So I decided to get it. When I first open the box and turned it on, it worked really well. If I’m gonna be honest, I connected it to my PS4 and upload it and download it no problem. I leave my PS4 in rest mode and I come back later and it’s saying that it does not have connection anymore. So I decided to restart my router/this product. And it does not want to gain connection anymore. I have the app that it provides and I went through the procedure multiple times, and now my phone will say it’s connected, but it has no Internet connection and that an AT&T screen comes up saying that it’s not connected so I don’t know what to do honestly. This is my Pinyan so if you still want to get this and try to yourself go ahead but I think that this isn’t the best product to go with. I would honestly rather spend 70 to 80 bucks for a good router if you play games or anything like that, I want to still keep using it see if there’s hope but as I’m looking at it, I don’t think there’s any hope

Compre este producto para mis papas que no tenian un buen router moderno que tuviera wifi6 y en realidad ha sido una completa basura, mis papas no pueden salir de la habitacion hacia la cocina porque la calidad de señal baja demasiado, incluso cuando vamos a visitarlos los fines de semana cuando hay muchos equipos conectados saca algunos dispositivos. de verdad que no lo recomiendo.

I have bought 2 tenda routers for myself and for my neighbor. This one is easy to setup, has alot of options from being your main router, to a wisp, or some models have more options. The Tenda routers i have have a long range and are able to cover my entire house which this one does. I needed ones with range because i have an acerage. 2 Tenda routers cover my 3.5 acres.
