This metronome tuner is very easy to use. It’s the perfect compact size to fit in my son’s soft-sided guitar case. The built-in kickstand is useful. The metronome is loud and clear with just the right options and the tuner is super easy for my son to use for tuning his acoustic guitar. Excellent value for the money.

Got a guitar as a gift. Mine was over 40years old. My turner was very outdated. I purchased this one and couldn’t be more pleased. It’s easy to use and accurate.

Deficient in two areas: 1. It does not display the actual frequency of the note it hears; it just always displays 440 Hz. 2. It does not hear any piano note below E2 so it cannot be used for complete tuning of a piano.

I like that this is both a tuner and metronome.

    Metronome:
The metronome has betwren 0-9 beats per measure that you can play with and can go from 30-260 bpm. The rhythm options are quarter, eighth, triplet, triplet with resting middle, 16th, 16th with resting middles, and finally 16th & 8th, 8th and 16th. You can adjust the volume by rotating finger up or down upper left hand side of the metronome.

    Tuner:
The pitch ranges from 430-450. You can press the sound button to hear any note in the scale.

    Pros:
-It has all the options I need as a violinist and I have been playing for decades.
-It’s small enough to fit into my violin case no problem.
-It uses batteries so I don’t have to worry about charging it I just keep spare batteries on hand.
-It has a decent amount of volume and you are able to adjust the volume of the metronome which is very helpful.
-There is an input port along the right side and a headphone jack on the left side under the volume.
-It has a small metal stand in the back that allows it to stand upright by itself on a flat surface.

    Cons:
-Changing between the tuner and metronome is not intuitive. I figured it out eventually but it was just kind of weird. There should have been buttons or switches dedicated to JUST toggling between those features. The same button that does this also adjusts the beat. You have to long press to activate the switch and short press to change the beat.

Primarily I bought this for my child with special needs, who is obsessed with metronome beats. He plays piano by the ear and would often request a certain beat or very confidently state the beat of a song being played. I bought this pocket device to keep him off any phone app with metronome that would need monitoring due to internet/other apps. On the other hand. I was able to tune my acoustic guitar in no time.

This digital metronome fulfills the requirements for playing all musical instruments, including the piano, guitar, violin, and bass, by supporting 30-250 beats per minute, 0-9 beats per measure, and eight distinct rhythms. It has a display with volume control making it a gem to operate. It is a great value as it combines a tuner, a metronome, and a tone generator all in one. My son is hooked to this, even when he is not on the piano and can experiment with tempo and settings (very important in his case to familiarize these things before learning). This has worked so well for his learning needs.
