What can I say? I was originally skeptical when my GF said try these. I ordered the first pair in white (not shown), and tried it for a week.
My first impressions:
This is the first set of Teva’s I’ve ever owned that I’m not embarrassed to wear all over the place. They don’t look like sports, hiking, or adventure sandals like the rest of their product line looks like. Meaning “hippie” hiking, biking, kayaking, running type of sport sandals. They can dress up or down. I’ve worn them to the beach, and even worn them (the black one) with a dress at a dinner event, and I got nothing but compliments, and shock from the ladies when I told them they’re TEVAS.
The different hues are very pleasant and stylish. Any of the colors can go with almost any color outfit. They fit and feel so nice. The material is almost like a “crocs” type of material. There’s no fabric or webbing like normal Teva sandals, there’s no synthetic or leather footbed, so (thankfully) these don’t seem to withhold that “stink feet” (EEW) smell.
Easy to wash, easy to clean. Just hose them off if used at the beach, or gently scrub them with a sponge or gentle nylon toothbrush if used in the dirt. The front strap is not adjustable; the top (ankle) strap is velcro and is adjustable to a certain extent. I keep the strap snug, not tight. It helps NOT to have that ankle strap too loose, that will lead to chaffing believe it or not, rather than keeping it loose. But not too tight! Or your foot will lose circulation which is WORSE.
I get a lot of compliments, for those of you who like attention that you get from wearing NICE shoes, sandals, slippers. Since I live in Hawaii we have a mostly flip flop, sandal type of culture, and these are ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for that purpose.
The black and white ones are the most versatile: I’ve worn the black one with a dress to dinner and another time to a business function. The white one I’ve worn to a friend’s wedding. I was the most comfortable lady there, I guarantee it! It’s normally hard to find nice white sandals to wear to moderate to classy events, and the white ones, well cared for and clean, fit the bill.
I didn’t think to take pictures of me wearing the white ones, sorry! LOL!!!
I can’t speak highly enough of these. So far I have one each of the white, black, lake green, and mango sandals. I love these.
The fit? Well they’re about 1/4″ too long, but that’s minor. You don’t really want to size them too close from heel to toe anyway, otherwise if you use them for hiking or walking, you’ll stub your toes all the time. Also, the front strap, sized oh so lightly too large (1/2 size up), sits right on the top of where what you’d call the toe first “knuckles” lie, and feels the best, for me anyway. The toes are allowed to bend and flex, you can still wiggle them and lift your toes for flexibility and comfort.
Good for dirt, sand, water, mud, and (cleaned off carefully) even a night out on the town if you wanna make a fashion statement? Wear a white dress with mango sandals? Yes! You can do it with this one if you want to. Wear mango (orange) designer glasses and you’ll set a fashion statement!!!

I am a 7.5, hopefully this helps other people who are also in between sizes decide what to get. The other reviews convinced me to get a 7, but I ended up returning and got the 8 instead. The 7 fit well, when I was standing still my foot fit completely on the footbed. But when I walked, my toes would slide forward a bit, and I was hanging out of the shoe. I really dislike that feeling. I would much rather a shoe be slightly too big than slightly too small. The 8 is a little too big, but when I walk, my foot stays completely on the footbed, so I am keeping this size. Also, I have a pair of Teva Hurricane’s with the fabric straps, and I assumed this should would be the same material as that one, just all over instead of the rubber / fabric combo. However, the material for these is much squishier, which I prefer for certain tasks, such as doing chores at home, or short walks in the neighborhood. I am happy with my purchase.

Great purchase for my recent Kauai trip!
I have worn original teva sandals on trips to Kauai in the past. They were great but I wanted something a bit more sturdy and that I could wear in and out of water with quick dry time. These sandals are perfect for that! I wore in the ocean, on impromptu hikes, literally everywhere! They kept my feet so comfy and allowed me to be as adventurous or as chill as I wanted to be any given moment. The color is super cute and went with everything! I would definitely purchase again but these are such good quality, I won’t need to unless I lose them!

These sandals are wide. I could have sized down but it’s not so wide that the fit won’t work for me. I haven’t been hiking yet. I did take a 14.5 road trip in them and worked perfectly. I plan to test out the hiking soon. Will be wearing lots this summer.

I was so excited to receive these shoes…great price, great shoes, loved the photos of the design of the shoe but when the shoe came it was nothing more than a full plastic shoe comparable to a $10 pair at target or Walmart. You could not adjust the lower part of the shoe as shown in the photo and the photo shown on this page shows it being fabric with an adjustable strap…that is not the case with the pair I received. I was so disappointed that I didn’t even take a photo to post with my review, just returned them immediately and found a cheap second hand pair in good condition at goodwill for $5. Don’t have trust in buying from Amazon as much anymore, products come super delayed or the wrong items get delivered…if they actually deliver it to the right house.
