Katie –
So far, I am loving these. Super comfy and they are still super cute!
Marcelle –
I walk a mile every morning with my dog, and these are so comfortable with the wide toe box.
Dakota Gaurin –
I got these shoes as a last hope, Iβve had a problem with other shoes and how tight they fit but these shoes fit so nice that it doesnβt even feel like Iβm wearing a regular shoes. Usually after wearing other shoes for 1+ hr I am in so much pain but these shoes have provided pain relief with their wide toe where my foot sits properly without being squished. So far they have been slip resistant and provide a good grip, they are great quality and definitely worth purchasing!

I wear a 9 to 9.5 Wide in Women’s shoes, so that’s what I ordered: 9.5 Wide. Nowhere in the description does it say what the European size is, which would have been helpful since I already know I wear a 40 EU in a different Whitin model. UPDATE: There is now a sizing chart in the middle of the product page, which gives foot lengths in inches/centimeters as well as size conversions for a better fit.
When these arrived, I found they were a size 41, which is too big for me. This was a huge setback for me, since I’ve been desperately seeking shoes that will help my tarsal tunnel syndrome heal.
Other than the length, these shoes were comfortable and offered more cushioning than the minimalist Whitins I already own (which I can no longer wear because of the tarsal tunnel syndrome, *not* caused by the Whitins). I love the wide toe box — which was plenty roomy for my 2E-width female feet — and they’re attractive as well, which is hard to find in these types of shoes. I absolutely love Whitin shoes and am looking forward to the correct-sized ones to arrive.
Please note that there is not a lot of arch “support” in these shoes, but the insole is removable so you can put any insole or orthotic in that you wish. I’m so glad Whitin is NOT trying to be an orthopedist like so many shoe manufacturers! We all have different feet and different support needs, so having the option to switch out the insole is a huge plus.

I have been looking for a pair of treadmill walking shoes for what seems like forever. Thought I finally found the perfect pair in these Whitins, but there are some glaring cons:
– the sole insert that comes with these shoes is absolutely abysmal. It felt like walking on cardboard. I purchased a pair of memory foam inserts for ten bucks and it made a world of difference. Since these shoes are relatively inexpensive, I’m not too mad about the added investment there.
– The seams started coming apart less than a month into wearing them. I would take them back if I could, but now I’m outside the return window. It feels like they’ll only last me a few months tops before they completely fall apart.
The wide toe box has made a big difference and the shoes are attractive enough. I’m just really disappointed at the lack of quality in these. Since they are cheaper, I guess you get what you pay for.
KJ –
They fit my wide yet narrow heeled difficult feet just about perfectly, as is true of their narefoot shoes. They’re not as shock absorbant as I had hoped, yet don’t cause pain or fatigue. My only issue is that Whitin doesn’t seem to make weather resistant shoes. I hope they will.
Ruby Lee –
Mom needed a wider toe box runner. She wears these all the time. Good value for the price.
Emma Maris –
El periΓ³dico es de buena calidad, sΓΊper anchos creo q se puede pedir medio nΓΊmero menos de la talla regular, solo le falta un poco de amortiguaciΓ³n lo reciento en el pie que tengo plano
Tyler –
Have not given them a good workout yet but very comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis and bunions and they are very comfortable.
Dakota Gaurin –
Iβm really happy the color is great, they fit perfect and the very comfortable,
Katie –
I really wanted to like this shoe.
But I tried it for 30+ days and they are extremely uncomfortable and my feet hurt for days afterwards
Do not buy, I also tried the other casual sneakers and same deal, so uncomfortable.
