Burgess Hurd –
These strings were recommended to me by one of my favorite players. I have not been disappointed. After playing for about two days they hold pitch with very minute adjustments.
Francine –
These strings are a very good fiddler’s string, very strong, fast and clear.
Paul M. Furbee –
No, not the same set of strings! Although I doubt I have purchased more than 5 sets over that time. They are very long lasting and sound great long after they are new. Break in isn’t long and the difference is not that much. Not very many people use these, and I have had classical players turn up their nose at them. I find them to be warm, supple, zero bow hiss, well balanced across all strings. I have used them for Celtic, Old-Time, Folk-Rock, Swing, Airs, Waltzes. I don’t think I would ever change them unless they break. I probably should but I am frugal and for my purposes, they sound good after years on the fiddle. I don’t know if they would work for all people, they are smooth and not in your face. I hate perlon strings with a passion. That bow hiss just drives me nuts.

Love the warmth I get out of these on my 4 string Zeta.
Takes out the top end nicely which is exactly what I was looking for.
Robert Stewart –
Very fast on delivery.
Johnboy –
Great strings for hot bluegrass or any kind of music……..my favorite for the last 20 years
hawk_507 –
Like night and day difference in violin sound compared to original factory strings. Each note has a warmer tone instead of a tinny sound. Easier to play.
Paul J. Herling –
Stay in tune, hold up under hard use–good for bluegrass and country fiddle, classical maybe not so well. Nice clear sound.
Vickie L Lomon –
I really love the way the strings make my violin sound. Each violin and strings sound different but I am very happy with these!!! Superflexible is incomparably responsive and its tone seems to literally radiate from the instrument, without the least harshness. Durability, Tuning stability as well!!!
