Good board. My 9 year old had no problems at all. I am 5’2 about 118, it was a bit more challenging for me to stand up… and I am very athletic. It was fun to practice on. If I was anything less than center, one side of the board went under… could just be my inexperience too. Absolutely a good purchase for a kid with some athletic ability.

This is hands down my favorite board to surf on in the river. Doesn’t seem like the most durable soft top but for the price and performance you really can’t ask for much more. Will buy again if mine ever breaks or if they make the same board in different sizes

This is a great board. My son has a variety of surfboards, but this is by far his favorite. It’s also my favorite because it was easy on the wallet and the customer service is excellent!! One of the fin screws popped out and after a simple e-mail to customer service, they quickly sent me replacement screws and fins for just the price of shipping! For a fun, affordable, versatile board… I highly recommend a Thurso!

I do think the price is a tad on the high end for what it was, though not terrible, but it seemed to be a decent quality & looked really nice. Unfortunately mine was missing the fins & had a scratch on the board, but was able to easily return it. Given it came scratched I’m not sure how well it would hold up to being used very much.

Board looks awesome. Love the twin fin retro look. Probably the main reason for buying this board for my kids. Board arrived with a couple small dings and one good size crease in the nose section, most likely from shipping company. Kids rode it non stop for 8hrs in Oceanside,CA. They are beginners and this board floats really well and it’s very stable due to the width.

This is a cute board and perfect for the beginner wanna be surfer, like my teen. It is very lightweight and the color is very trendy. It fits easily in the back of the jeep too!
