Great looking watch, Beautiful dail and bracelet, and fabulous power reserve. The big crown makes manual winding easy if you seldomly wear the watch. You won’t be disappointed in this watch.

The box was a bit damaged which I think was disappointing as its for a special birthday

I found this watch in another country and just fell in love with it. I bought it on Amazon while on a cruise ship and could not wait to get home. Absolutely amazing. The quality is the best I’ve ever found.

Very nice design & function. The watch band can be easily re-sized as needed. Is considerably heavier than electronic watches. Can be difficult to see watch hands in low light. Love the fact that it doesn’t need a battery and recharges off my movements.

Let me start by saying, buying from a 3rd pty on Amazon is not necessarily a problem, but if you aren’t super into watches you may not know, you do NOT get the benefit of original mfg warranty (even if the watch is brand-new) because you did not buy from an Authorized Dealer (AD). This means, if you paid less than retail, and something goes wrong or is otherwise not as it should be, Tissot will not help you (unless you pay them to help I guess).
That being said, to me, a few hundred off the sticker price is worth it as I know Tissot makes high quality watches. This is no exception, and even Tissot’s CEO has said the Le Locle model family is a flagship watch family for the brand, as it’s named after the town in Switzerland where Tissot was founded. The watch has an absolutely beautiful dial and caseback, and the semi-see-through caseback helps to accentuate the high-quality feel of the watch overall. I love being able to see the movement as the escape wheel rotates, and see the gears turn as the watch is wound.
As mine has the blue dial, it’s not as easy to see all the intricacies of the design as on the silver, but it’s still very beautiful. The reflection off the sapphire crystal does make it a bit tough to read in some lighting conditions. But the crown is a nice size, making it easy to grab and manipulate while trying to wind/set the watch.
The ONLY thing I don’t really like about mine, and it’s likely just MY example… the automatic winding rotor that mine came with does not match the ones you see in the product photos. It’s not decorated in the same way, which makes me wonder if my watch is truly “brand-new” or if it’d been returned/repaired at some point. The movement also does not have some of the stampings that the identical movement in my Tissot PRX has, but the parts visible through the caseback do look identical so I am confident I do have a powermatic 80 movement. I just don’t know if it’s been repaired/replaced, or if the watch has been opened and tampered with. As it keeps good time, doesn’t have any obvious/audible issues that make me think it is damaged or not authentic, I did decide to keep it. However, I was pretty nervous about it at first, and I do remain a bit apprehensive, though as I said I did decide to go ahead and keep it.
Just something to be aware of, when you are buying luxury watches on Amazon, you really aren’t buying through a legitimate sales-channel, which means you are kind of out in the wild west and not protected by the brand’s warranty should something go wrong.
In all, the watch is beautiful, I love it, and I love Tissot!
