My name is Kierrafuego streamer extraordinaire, youtuber, and cosplayer follow me everywhere!!
Let me tell you about this little doodad, this what-cha-ma-call-it, gizmo, doo-hickey, it is the best thing since sliced bread!
I wanted a capture card that was reliable and affordable something that will hold me over until I get a new Elgato capture card.
This is considered an off-brand device.
This is up there with Great Value. You heard of Elgato, well this is El-Gotcha!
I definitely had a lot of issues with setting this thing up took me several hours!
The Manual is so awful and does not prepare you for the issues you will have during set up lol
Two things you need to know gals and gents and that is the basics of OBS and HDMI set up.
You dont have to be Bob the Builder or an IT guy but you do need patience.
I have a gaming PC and used two monitors — one monitor connected to the HDMI OUTPUT on the capture card and the second monitor was connected to my gaming PC !!
After that I connected my handsome PS5 to the HDMI INPUT on the capture card.
Then the last step was connecting the USB cable from the capture card to my PC.
I will man the ship from the monitor that is connected to my PC that way I can use OBS while streaming or recording game play for youtube and the other monitor is connected to the capture card which will allow me to play my game in clear quality outside of OBS windows
You would think it would work perfectly after set up right? NOPE
In OBS I could not get the capture card and my webcam to show at the same time on one scene!
OBS was on some BS.
Then I found the culprit !!!!! HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!!!!
YOU CANNOT USE THE CAPTURE CARD USB CABLE ON THE SAME USB HUB AS YOUR WEBCAM ON YOUR PC
WHY??? Because you just cant my friend
What kind of language am I speaking? Well in lame terms dont plug in the capture card next to your webcam lol find another port either on the front of your PC or back of the PC— a port that is far away from the webcam that is plugged into your PC.
BOOM!!! perfect game capture
BUT UH OH
Audio mustve got jealous at all the attention I was giving my webcam because i noticed something off with it
Long story short I plugged my headset into my PC
I used “properties” button next to each audio source and made sure my headset was selected so I can use my mic and hear my ps5 game (Forbidden West if you were curious)
But there was an echo now all of a sudden
In OBS if you hear an echo it is because there is another device picking up the same audio
GUESS WHO IT WAS
YOU GOT IT — the suspect was the capture card
The capture card can pick up audio
In OBS under the audio mixer find El-Gotcha and disable the speaker icon (just click on it my friend)
Echo disappears
If you have no audio — like i did at one point then you have to go in your advanced sound setting on your PC itself — find the “listen” tab for your capture card and make sure the box is checked, theres only one box there, and then hit “apply” then press “okay” and “okay” again
You will definitely have audio
If you want me to show you how I did it step by step message me on IG I will be more than happy.
All in all this device is amazing for the price.
Dont be fooled tho.
You get what you pay for.
Audio and mic isnt crisp and clear but if youre a streamer youre gonna invest in a better mic anyway so you wont have to worry about using your headset for audio output and as a mic
the game capture is so spot on its really pretty
for the price this is a really good device I love it very much
cant wait to stream my digital ps5 games on my PC
the setup was hell but once you get the hang of it youll find it runs pretty smooth
BUY IT NOW GET IT TODAY I WILL HELP YOU IF NEEDED EVERYONE DESERVES TO BE A STREAMER IF THEY DESIRE THIS IS THE FIRST STEP IN GETTING AN AFFORDABLE GAMING SET UP!!!!

It’s a nifty tool for gamers looking to level up their streaming game.
Setting it up was surprisingly straightforward โ no tech wizardry required. I managed to get it up and running without diving too deep into the instruction manual.
Compared to other capture cards, this one holds its ground well. It does the job, capturing gameplay footage with decent quality. The software is user-friendly, and I appreciate that.
The reason for the 4 stars is mainly the build quality. It feels a bit plasticky, and I’d prefer a sturdier construction for something that might see frequent use.

To start, the capture card I received came with the hdmi out port broken. No damage to the box. One pin was pushed up and back, as well as there was some damage to the plastic part of the port. I was about to bend it back, and it worked! I was worried it would stop working at some point, but I figured if the product worked nice, I would just risk it and keep it.
I was hoping to use this device to record my switch at 1080p 60fps, like it advertises. Although it allows you to change the settings in OBS to 1080p 60fps, it only does 1080p 30fps. I does 720p 60fps, however. Anyways, I was disappointed, but thought I might still keep it if the audio and video quality are good…
…They weren’t. The video’s colors were noticeably off, and audio was HELL to get working correctly. If you use headphones connected to your switch, this does not work. And when you don’t use headphones, it only kinda works. There is a huge delay between video and audio. Not sure how they messed this up, but they did. The solution I found here was to get an aux cable splitter so I could feed the switch’s audio input into my headphones and the mic input on the capture device. Feeding the game audio into the mic input on the capture device gets rid of the delay, so the video and audio matched up!
So not I have this really sketchy low-quality setup to deal with. I decided all this was not worth it, especially since the video capture was partially broken to begin with. This is why I am returning this device. I would recommend spending a bit more for one with better quality.

Had friends telling me that I would need to spend $300-400 to accomplish my goal, but this worked perfectly. Connected it to the HDMI output of my KVM, with the other output running to my monitor. Now I’m able to easily create videos for internal training and documentation.
