This is a really great vac and I have owned and reviewed many. This one is almost an identical twin to an Eicobot I reviewed a few months ago, and I really loved that one. This one ups the game with more filters, a larger capacity battery and better overall workmanship. I gave this vac the same test run as the other brand. Trigger is click to turn on or off, with a second “Max” power suction setting via a button on top. I have become fond of this on/off switch and handle arrangement.

Battery Life: 28 minutes mixed use in a 1500 square foot home (600 is carpet, the rest hardwood floor with low pile area rugs). Carpeting was vacuumed first using the “Max” (aka turbo) setting and took about 10 minutes. The battery still showed a full charge when done. I stopped using turbo mode and just vacuumed all wood flooring and area rugs using normal suction. After another 10 minutes I was done and the charge level dropped by only 1 bar. I decided to run the battery down fully so I vacuumed everything again but stayed in turbo mode until the vac shut itself off from low battery charge at the 28 minute mark.

Recharge time: From fully depleted to full charge was 4.5 hours

Suction seemed slightly less than our other name brand, expensive cordless vacs, but this still picked up just as much, and almost as quickly. Hair and whatnot hiding along inside corners were not a challenge to suck up, nor did the roller brush spit anything away instead of sucking it up. The telescopic pole works well. Power head brush roller can be removed with one quick release lever, making it easy to clean. Power head LED headlights were useful. The head swivels well and vac is easy to push/pull on carpet. The attachments click firmly with well made lock and release buttons. The only thing I didn’t like was the included wall mount – I think it puts too much strain on the vac head door when hanging.

Canister has just one button to push to empty it. Inside the canister sits the pre-filter (fine mesh metal screen outer housing) with pleated white filter inside of that. 3 extra pleated filters are included. All can be rinsed with water and dried for reuse. The battery pack can be charged with battery attached or removed, but you only see actual charge progress when it is attached to vac.

Other than the wall mount, I think this is really well engineered vac. Instructions are thorough and well written. Single pack battery life was more than acceptable. It has plenty of suction without so much it annoys by sucking up edges of area rugs. It gets the job done. I do own the expensive cordless brand that starts with a “D”. For the cost of that one, I could own 4-5 of these and be just as happy, quite frankly. I would not consider these competitor versions to be cheap imitations of the big brand ones either. You get a decent vac for the money with this one.

The TMA Stick Vacuum Cleaner 6 in 1 with 4 Filters 8-Cell Large Battery & 45 Mins Runing Time for Home Hardwood Low-Pile Pet Hair Deep Clean is a nice compact unit that is lightweight and very easy to use. Out of the box the battery was charged so I was able to use it without charging the battery. There is a quick start guide, but honestly the initial assembly was very intuitive. One thing I really like about this model is that it stands upright on it’s own. Many of the ‘stick’ vacuums are top heavy so they have to be disassembled or fold in half to stand. I also like that the stick part of the vacuum is extendable – there is a button to press to unlock the telescope and lengthen the body. You can also remove the stick altogether and use this as a compacted floor unit, or add one of the other attachments and use it for cleaning crevices such as your car or windowsills. The suction seems good – I did a room with hardwood floors with ease. I It’s the first vacuum I’ve had in a while that doesn’t have a floor vs. carpet setting, but there is a ‘turbo’ button, so I would imagine that would be good to use on a carpeted area. I would call this vacuum simple – simple design, simple to use and even simple to store. They have included a mount and hardware so you can easily store it in a closet. There is a cord to plug the battery in – no case or holder necessary. At $109.99, it’s one of the more modest units I’ve seen available. It would be perfect for a small apartment or even a college dorm. I would recommend.

Overall, I like this little stick vacuum. I have had two others and this one seems to have the best suction of the three. It also has the largest battery and the longest run time. It is also very easy to take apart and swap the extension rod for either of the two included accessories — a crevice nozzle and an upholstery brush. On my vinyl kitchen floor, it works great. It also worked well on the rug in my hallway (medium nap), though not as well as my canister vacuum (but better than my other stick vacs). I also really like that it comes with a total of 4 HEPA filters and a tool for cleaning the filters and the wire mesh prefilter (which can also be washed). It also includes a bracket for hanging it on the wall, though I doubt I will ever use it, as it is perfectly capable of standing in a corner on its own. I also like that the battery is easily removable and can be charged either in or out of the unit. I also am glad that the wall mount does not include the charger built in to it and that you can just plug it in as needed, which is much better from a Li-ion battery safety perspective. I also really like the styling and solid white color of this vac, as it looks quite nice and unobtrusive in the corner of my kitchen.

Also, upon checking, I am very happy to see that all spare parts from the motor assembly to extra batteries to additional HEPA filters are all readily available on Amazon. I am especially pleased to see that extra batteries are available and having a spare to swap in would be really nice — especially as the battery takes over 4 hours to charge from fully depleted.

While there are a ton of good things about this vacuum that I really like, there is one thing that is keeping me from giving it a 5 star review: the motor assembly puts out a very odd and noticeable odor when running (reminiscent of plastic combined with cigarette smoke). As the vacuum was obviously new and had never been used, and the motor doesn’t seem to be overheating, this almost has to be some legacy of the manufacturing process. It also is not coming from either of the filter assemblies (I checked). Hopefully it will go away upon longer use, but it hasn’t so far.
