I did a ton of research because I needed new cookware. And in terms of quality versus price Tramontina is the definite all around winner. It is Triclad up the sides not just on the bottom, and they are heavy, ergonomic and beautiful. The Gourmet set which I bought has stainless steel lids which I love. There are 8, 10 or 12 piece sets. . I bought the 12 pièce which has all the necessary sizes for all of your cooking needs. Follow the instructions to make sure they last a lifetime I just can’t say enough good things about Tramontina. They are built in Brazil which is another plus. If you’ve been shopping for quality cookware, look no further. Quite pricey though but if you take care of them, they should last a very long time.

I have been working toward removing toxins from my home. One of the biggest threats to my family’s health was how we were preparing our food. Nonstick coatings are toxic. I had been looking into stainless steel cookware and truthfully was a bit worried that everything was going to burn and stick. I decided to just go ahead and make the switch. I sure am glad I did! I purchased the Stainless steel Tramotina set. The set is wonderful, well made, the pans are heavy, sturdy, lids fit perfectly, they heat evenly, clean up beautifully. I am very pleased with the quality of this set especially considering the price! I highly recommend this set, would buy again but probably won’t ever have to as these should last the rest of my lifetime!

This Tramontina Stainless Steel 12-Piece Cook Set is a top-notch addition to any kitchen. Its outstanding feature is its ability to evenly distribute heat, resulting in perfectly cooked dishes with beautiful browning. The durable stainless steel construction, substantial weight, and versatility of the set make it suitable for various cooking techniques and recipes. Moreover, its induction compatibility, easy cleaning, and long-lasting shine further enhance its appeal, making it an ideal choice for both novice and experienced cooks seeking high-quality, reliable cookware.
This cookware set truly excels in delivering exceptional performance and durability, and it has transformed the cooking experience for many. Whether you’re simmering sauces or searing steaks, these pots and pans consistently impress with their even heating and fantastic results. If you’re looking to invest in cookware that elevates your culinary creations and stands the test of time, the Tramontina Cook Set is an excellent choice that won’t disappoint.

This is an excellent cookware set. I use every pan routinely. Very durable and heats evenly. I have no issue cleaning them. Keep in mind when cooking in this type of pan you have to heat the pan first, then add oil, then food. Hot pan – cold oil – then your food won’t stick. A little bar keepers friend after washing to remove any leftover food residue and the pans will look just like new. Mine do, and I have been cooking almost daily in them for almost 8 months now. The large covered sauté pan is my favorite. It has a nice, wide bottom and straight sides – you can cook lots of food at one time in it.
I have a couple of All Clad pans, and there is no difference in performance between the All Clad and the Tramontina, but a huge difference in price. Highly recommended set!

Heats up fast, light, looks great.

This is the best set of pots and pans I have ever had, and believe me, I don’t skimp on my health.
The balance on a burner is superb! So easy to clean and you only have to use medium heat to get a really good sear on chicken or steak.
Let them cool before you clean. I only have to rinse with water and wipe them out with a paper towel and they are clean.
I am so thrilled with this set! 💓

I can finally have food cooked the way I like

Just received the 12 piece set and LOVE it! The finish, feel and weight of them is amazing and better than I expected. I have only used two pieces so far – made scrambled eggs in the frying pan and nothing stuck and was a breeze to clean. This set IS made in Brazil and says so on the bottom of each pan. Highly recommend this set – can’t wait to use the rest of them!

This seller (Home Solutions for You) is either very crafty or…something else. TLDR: Too early to say how this will hold up over time. Looks great, seems sturdy, checks many or all of the boxes we had BUT what was delivered didn’t match what we ordered. YMMV, order the 14 pc directly from Sam’s Club if the differences don’t matter to you, as I describe below. We ordered the 12-pc thru Amazon 3rd party but had the 14 pc from Sam’s delivered. Crafty switcheroo by this seller. The 14 pc from Sam’s costs $100 less (than we paid) but may be of equal or greater value to the 12 pc Gourmet.
We looked at replacements for our 15-year old Teflon set that we got on our wedding registry. We looked at ceramic and other non-stick options but settled on stainless steel as a safer and longer-lasting option. The reviewers at Wirecutter and America’s Test Kitchen recommended Tramontina sets, which is how we got here.
There are mixed reviews on Amazon for Tramontina many related to whether the sets came from Brazil or China. We ordered the 12 pc Gourmet set thru a 3rd party seller on Amazon. Via overnight, we received the non-gourmet 14-piece Tramontina (Members Mark) directly from Sam’s Club. It just so happens that we also ordered a 10 piece gourmet set directly from Best Buy, so we actually have a basis for comparison.
There are a similarities and differences between the non-gourmet 14 pc Tramontina from Sam’s Club vs the Gourmet. First, yes the 14 piece pans and pots are marked as Made in Brazil if that’s important. The lids of both sets are stainless steel and both say they can go into the oven to 550°. The range and variety of the pots and pans are sightly different from the 10 piece. They both say they’re induction compatible and are mirror-finshed. Obviously, more pieces in the 14 pc set, some more useful to our family.
Overall, the 14 piece set has a riveted handle that is more rounded on its bottom and that are affixed to the pots/pans like the edge of a triangle. Whereas the riveted handles from the Gourmet set are riveted to the pots/pans like the horizontally flattened edges of a two-pronged fork. The 8, 10, and (and 12-inch) saute pans in the 14-piece set slope from the pan surface into a straight-edge. The edges of the gourmet pans are flared like for pouring. It seems that the first area of those pans are similar if not the same. The non-gourmet saute pans are somewhat heavier than their counterpart gourmet pans. I could see why someone would want flared edges and less weight in a pan. Maybe the flared edges would also be better for dissipating heat. Generally, the pots are similar in weight in both sets. The diameter of the pots and pans are the same comparing similar volume pots and pans in each set. Perhaps the lid handles of the Gourmet set are solid stainless steel whereas the lid handles of the non-gourmet may be hollow but it’s difficult to know, see or tell from three external appearance.
We’re going to keep the 14 piece set. It has greater value for us but I would be careful ordering these sets if not directly from Tramontina or Amazon as a seller. (Or buy the 14 piece non-Gourmet from Sam’s Club directly and pay less.)

I’ve had these pans for a few weeks now using them on most nights and have to admit I’m thoroughly impressed. I knew they would be of good quality but the deference between any other pans I’ve owned is night and day. I’ve found them to be easy to use and clean, heat evenly and have had no issues with food sticking. Been a joy to use and hopefully will be with me for years to come.

Bought this as an upgrade for my basic cooking set from one of your average home stores, and was not disappointed. They feel solid, heat evenly all the way up and are excellent at retaining heat. Treat them well, and they should last a very, very long time.
Make sure you spend some time learning about how to cook with these – they are quality triple-ply stainless steel, and as such you shouldn’t be treating them the same as other pans. Notably, you’ll usually need less heat, and you’ll want to make sure to preheat the pans properly to prevent sticking. Do it right and you’ll end up with beautiful, evenly browned food that slides right out of the pan!
