I clay barred my paint prior to use. This product works good and I am happy with the overall results. This is formulated for use on black paint and seemed to hide some of the micro scratches. It is not easy on, easy off. It took some elbow grease and labor intensive using a quality micro fiber polishing cloth to achieve a shine. There were a few spots where It still seemed slightly cloudy and lacking the deep shine I wanted but they were not really noticeable. Water just rolls off. Very hydrophobic. Time will tell how long it lasts.

Although, this product looked great on most of the car, it will not cover paint faded by the sun. I thought the fact that it was tinted black that it would address this issue. It is very possible that I misunderstood the purpose of this product.

I applied this on a new truck that came from the dealer with some minor micro scratches “swirl” marks already on it. I didn’t apply the black car polish or any other paint correction first, just wash, dry, and applied this as directed. Application is a very easy on and off. The results are immediate, a noticeable increase in the gloss/shine and the slickness of the surface. Also, I was pleased to find there was also a noticeable decrease in the scratches under sunlight. I wasn’t expecting miracles, but it did better than I really expected. It does stain your microfiber, even after washing. Maybe use a dark colored cloth if you care about that, but it at least smells good. Longevity is yet to be seen.

I have a 20 year old black RX-8 that say outside in the driveway, not driven (for medical reasons) for about three years. Fifteen hundred dollars at the mechanic, and it runs perfectly. I was ready to have it repainted, having been mistreated so badly. I bought all kinds of things to bring the paint back to life. Surprisingly, Mazda must have put on really good factory paint. Well, one thing I bought was Turtle Wax’s polish for black cars. I hadn’t expected much. How could polish made for black cars make that much difference? Well, it did. So, instead of the traditional carnauba wax, I fell for the promise that this black spray-on wax would be ok. At least it wouldn’t mean having to put on and buff carnauba wax.
Well, the hype turned out to be not hype. Obviously, Turtle Wax had put a lot of engineering and chemistry into more modern waxes. So, after the black polish, I sprayed on the black wax. At first I saw streaking on the hood. Oh, well…it’s obviously not perfect. I let it cure for a day or so. No visible streaks! Now, I was just today trying to explain to my friend why black cars are so difficult. I told him about swirls. Well, I can’t say that the Turtle Wax black formulation got rid of all the scratches and swirls. But, unless you look for them, the paint looks really good. I live in Oregon. There’s hardly a day without rain. It must be a couple of months since I waxed the car. Every day, it’s the only one in the parking lot with tiny water beads from the rain. (Maybe I’m the only one who even bothered to wax.) The shine is gorgeous. It’s even reflexive. And the rain is irrelevant. If there’s a day without too much rain, I’ll put on a second coat. A spray-on wax? For black cars? Actually, it works. If you, like me, have a 2004 black car, just get this. You’ll be as surprised as I am. I even go outside just to look at it.

After watching the Project Farm video on ceramic spray waxes, where Turtle Wax’s hybrid solution product proved a great value, I decided to give this product a try. It’s incredibly easy to apply, just clean the vehicle as normal, and apply the spray to a microfiber cloth and wipe onto the vehicle. Try to avoid doing it in direct sun, but this stuff seemed pretty forgiving (unlike many other waxes I’ve tried).
I park in an apartment parking garage (so the vehicle isn’t usually exposed to the elements), but this spray wax seems to last a few months. It will lose it’s mirror finish after a few days of driving, but rain will bead up all over the paint. It feels great knowing that my paint is protected.

拭き取りは、そこそこ重めです。
拭きムラにはなりにくいほうだと思いますが、なるにはなります。その場合は、もう一度軽く塗ってから再度拭きあげると取れます。
気になる傷の隠蔽効果も、一般的なワックスとそれほど変わりませんが、簡易系よりもあります。
ただ、色々とコーティング剤のある中で、今後もあえてこれを選ぶかと言われると、選ばないと思います。

Excellent stuff. bought this , and the ceramic acrylic black polish to rejuvenate the paint on my 12 year old audi.
Spent a few solid hours with the DA polisher and the polish, with a polishing pad to bring the paint back to excellent condition, not scratch free but even after just the polish it was clearer, richer and glossier.
after the recommended 24 hour cure time I applied 1 layer of this product and was immediately impressed with the results, improved gloss and slickness, which improves as it cures further. A definite improvement in the gloss, depth of colour and clarity.
It weathers well too, maintaining its shine even hour long commutes in the heavy rain, it does show water spots, but they all do..
It is fairly easy to work with, despite what turtle wax will tell you, i would avoid using it in the sun/on hot panels, and you need to spread it and work it in thoroughly. It is WELL worth spending a few minutes doing that, then buff off well.
All-in-all, SUPERB.
