Having a dock that has VGA is nice to have, IMO. I don’t often need this feature but when I do, I’m glad it’s there. It makes it much easier to deal with in not needing to find Yet Another Cable to deal with older devices that don’t have HDMI or DisplayPort.
Also, video quality through the display ports are decent but nothing really to write home about, if I’m honest. It works, it does its job in displaying clear video assuming you have good cables and the required grunt to run monitors and the like.

Just got this, so, will come back to add/edit review as needed. Happy overall with initial impressions. Built solid out of some type of lightweight metal I believe. Good ports – and specs thereof – according to the box (have yet to test out). There is one frustrating omission, however, concerning the port selection (for my preference) – and that’s a gB Ethernet option. I’d gladly have sacrificed the VGA port on the end of the unit for an Ethernet option. Additionally, the printed (appreciate that btw) manual is THICK. I haven’t read it yet, though. So, maybe it’s heft isn’t due to a myriad of (frustrating) use case criteria, but rather the result of various languages for ease of comprehension. God I hope it’s the latter. Assuming it works reliably without a Venn diagram of complex use case landmines, I’d give it an 8/10!

Consigliato!!

I wasnt expecting this to work to be honest, but was pleasently surprised when i plugged everything in and it did. There was a couple of niggles, i had to swap my screen inputs around to be able to get my second screen to work, i also get a slow charge warning, not had a chance to thoroughly test it yet. I also wish the trailing lead was a bit longer, i could then plug everything in and tuck it out of the way.

UGREEN for me is a brand that translates to quality. Always good products, and this one is no exception. The hub is versatile, with multiple ports including two HDMI ports, a VGA port, and two 10Gbps USB-C and USB-A data ports. It also supports 100W power delivery, which is great for fast charging.
I particularly love the USB port speed (3.2 Gen), which ensures fast data transfer rates. The triple-monitor display support is great to have.
I plan to mostly keep it in my backpack to use as needed, especially for presentations or when working on the go. Overall, it’s a high-quality, functional product that meets all my needs.

What a major difference from other docking stations that I have used. I had forgotten I changed my docking station and when I turned my screens back on, I was impressed.
I also like that the cord has a protective woven cover, which will help protect the connection. I will be ordering an additional one to have at work.

The docking station allows me to connect all the peripherals I have with my laptop by one cable. Easy to setup and not taking space on the desk.

Works great for connecting my external monitors and keyboard/mouse. I like that it includes a VGA port for one of my older screens. I do wish it included an ethernet port – that’s my mistake for not catching that omission before placing the order.

I got this because the dock I was using did not allow the additional USB C port to transmit data which was annoying. This one works as it advertises. The bummer is that it does not work well with my set up. I am using portable monitors c clamed to a mobile desk. It requires USB A for power and HDMI for Video. The issue is that since these ports are on the opposite sides of the dock cord management is impossible in the limited space on my mobile desk. This is not a issue with functionality so I did not subtract any stars. It works perfectly, just to cumbersome to be useful with my set up.

Bought this thing to replace a Dell-branded dock that my company had provided for my work-from-home setup, which cost probably ten times what this thing does. Over the past year or so, I’ve lost hours of productivity fighting with it’s DisplayLink® “technology” — i.e. flaming hot garbage — before giving up on it. Buggy kernel drivers, weird crashes, and I never could get more than one external display to reliably work .
This UGREEN product, on the other hand, Just Works. I’m running Kubuntu (Ubuntu 22.04lts + KDE Plasma + XOrg), and I plugged and played. Two external monitors connected via HDMI are detected and working independently. I’ve tried both mirroring the laptop display to the first external monitor and extending the display across all three monitors, and both configurations work as expected. It doesn’t even have an issue running through my cheapo 2×2 KVM switch box to share displays/keyboard/mouse with my desktop system. The only thing this model doesn’t have is a gigabit Ethernet port, which I didn’t need as my laptop has a wired network port built in, but just be aware. It also doesn’t come with its own power adapter, but according to the documentation, it’ll take up to 100W of input power via USB-c and provide up to 85W of pass-through power for charging the laptop. I haven’t tried different chargers with it, but it seems to work fine and provide plenty of power using my laptop’s 65W charger.
UGREEN seems to make good stuff at a good price point, but considering the abysmal Linux support of much more expensive products, this thing is a steal at around 30 bucks. I rarely leave product reviews, but as much of a gamble as it can be finding hardware with good Linux support, I thought I’d give a shout out. So, there you go. If you have a laptop running Linux, and you want to drive two external displays, buy this thing.

This USB-C dock is great for connecting multiple displays and adding USB-C and USB-A ports.
This combination of ports always tend to sacrifice the quality of USB ports but I’m happy to report that the USB ports are all functioning well.
It’s worth nothing many Mac computers with Apple Silicon will still have limitations on the number of displays you can connect. For example, my Macbook Pro can only accept 2 external displays even with this dock. This is a limitation of the Mac and not this dock.
The final thing I really like about this dock is the longer than usual cable. I usually struggle with short cable docks as the port placement always get awkward. Having a longer cable like this one allows me to place the dock to keep the cables organized.
