I’d been surviving on a cheapy set of computer repair tools for decades. If you’ve worked on computers a lot, you probably know the type — the thin aluminum screwdrivers that come in a wallet-sized zipper case. They cramped my hands, were hard to apply pressure with, and eventually the tips proved to be so cheap that a particularly tough screw would chew up the head.
Investing in this kit here was a great idea. You get SO many bits/tips. I remember spending $8 on a specific size of tri-wing screwdriver, but here, it’s one of dozens and dozens of sizes and shapes. There’s stuff I’ve struggled to take apart and clean for YEARS that I handled no sweat with this kit. Great investment. I don’t see myself regretting this any time soon.

If you are a casual computer guru, this is absolutely a fantastic kit for the price. My only complaints are that the plastic spudgers are practically worthless, as they deform when pressure is applied against my plastic laptop casing. And the grounding wrist strap is weak. The clamp works fine but the actual prong does not fit any receptacle, so I’m stuck shoving a piece of metal in the ground hole and using the clamp to attach to it. At the moment, this is not worth buying a whole new strap.
All the other tools are fantastic. They work perfectly. Perhaps if you do this for a living this kit may not be for you, but for the price, I would recommend this kit to absolutely everyone below professional level. If you need to take apart your computer, look no further.

I have an asus laptop from 2018 whose life I was looking to extend until I can buy a gaming PC. I had never done any maintenance on it (mostly due to lack of proper tools) so I bought this kit.
Everything is neatly packaged and it even includes a magnetizer for the screwdriver which I thought was incredibly smart. I haven’t tried this part yet, but there’s also tools to change our your phone screen, so I thought that was pretty cool as well!
With the help of this kit I was able to open up my laptop without damaging it, cleaning it up (it was fairly dusty which I figured it would be) and close it back up again easily. I haven’t attempted anything too advanced so I cannot speak for all its functionalities and tools, but if you’re looking for a cheap kit for laptop maintenance, this one does the trick.
