Itโs bulkier than I expected from looking at the pictures, but it does fit into my pocket while attached to the UAG case holding my iPhone 14 Pro Max, so itโs going to serve my purpose to maintain a charge and wireless service while in remote areas.

The ARMOR GEAR UAG 10000mAh Power Bank is a robust and versatile charging solution that caters to a variety of needs. With a substantial 10,000mAh capacity, this power bank offers ample power to keep your devices charged throughout the day. Its 20W fast charging capability ensures that your devices are powered up quickly, making it an excellent choice for those on the go.
One of the standout features of this power bank is its dual-port functionality. The inclusion of both USB-C and USB ports allows for simultaneous charging of multiple devices, which is incredibly convenient for users with multiple gadgets. The USB-C port supports fast charging, while the traditional USB port provides flexibility for various devices.
The wireless charging feature is particularly impressive. With its magnetic design, it securely attaches to compatible devices, providing a stable and efficient charging experience without the need for cables. This feature is especially useful for modern smartphones that support wireless charging, allowing for a clutter-free and straightforward charging process.
The power bank also includes a built-in kickstand, adding to its practicality. The kickstand is a thoughtful addition, providing hands-free viewing for your device while it charges. This is particularly useful for watching videos or making video calls.
In terms of build quality, the ARMOR GEAR UAG power bank is designed to be durable and rugged, suitable for both everyday use and more demanding conditions. Its design is sturdy, and the overall build feels reliable. Whether youโre traveling, at work, or simply need an extra boost, this power bank delivers on performance and convenience, making it a valuable accessory for any tech user.

Well built and rugged. Works OK if my phone is in it’s UAG Monarch Pro case. With other cases, magnetic wireless charging is intermittent at best. Other power banks seem to work charging magnetically with those cases with no problem.

Ladies and gentlemen, gather ’round for the tale of the power bank that puts all other power banks to shame – the UAG powerhouse that’s more ripped than your high school gym teacher!
First off, let’s address the elephant in the room – or should I say, the bodybuilder in the room? This power bank looks like it’s been hitting the gym harder than I hit the snooze button. It’s the Arnold Schwarzenegger of charging devices, probably grunting “I’ll be back… with more power” every time you plug it in.
Now, you might think its bulky build would make it as comfortable to carry as a porcupine, but surprise! It clings to the back of my Samsung S22 Ultra like a koala to a eucalyptus tree. It’s like they designed it specifically for people who can’t decide between a phone and a brick.
The magnet on this bad boy is stronger than my willpower at a buffet. It’s not going anywhere, but don’t worry – you won’t need the Jaws of Life to pry it off your phone when you’re done. It’s clingy, but not “first date gone wrong” clingy.
When it comes to charging, this thing is faster than a caffeinated cheetah. It took my phone from 68% to full in just over an hour – wirelessly! Plug it in, and it’s like strapping your phone to a lightning bolt. “Fast charging started,” indeed. Captain Obvious called, he wants his message back.
The kickstand is so solid, it could probably support my emotional baggage. Even when I stood my phone up vertically, it didn’t wobble. It’s like it’s saying, “Go ahead, try to knock me over. I dare you.”
Now, I didn’t test its water resistance because, well, I’m not a monster. But it looks like it could survive a dip in the pool better than I could survive a day without coffee.
The USB-C cable that comes with it is probably nicer than any relationship I’ve ever been in. It’s that good.
My only gripe? The battery indicator. Four lights? Come on, UAG, it’s 2024! I want a full LED display that tells me the battery percentage, my horoscope, and maybe tomorrow’s lottery numbers while we’re at it.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a power bank that could probably bench press your laptop, this is the one for you. Yes, it’s pricier than my monthly coffee budget, but hey, quality doesn’t come cheap. It’s a 5-star product that’s more reliable than my ex and more powerful than my last New Year’s resolution. Buy it now, and never fear a dead battery again!

I am mainly using this power bank with my iPhone 15 Pro Max with a MagSafe compatible Nomad case, and with an iPad with a USB-C port. Pay attention to the specs, because itโs intended for relatively recent phone models and might not work on your phone or devices. For example, it doesnโt work for my husbandโs iPhone SE, which doesnโt have MagSafe charging or use a USB-C or USB-A cable for charging.
Out of the box, the power bank was about half charged. I plugged it into my USB-C charging cable and it took maybe half an hour to reach full charge. (Note that the power bank can be charged only with a USB-C cable.) The charging level of the power bank is indicated by four dots on the bottom of the charger. (Note that while this comes with a nice heavy-duty 4-foot USB-C to USB-C charging cable, it doesnโt come with an AC power adapter. Not a problem here, since I already have several, as I suspect most people do.)
I waited until my iPhone charge was down to 20%, then put it on top of fully-charged power bank. The magnetic attraction is strong. I could pick up the phone and the power bank stayed firmly attached. I could use the kickstand to orient the power bank and attached phone vertically or horizontally, and the phone stayed firmly attached. It took 3.5 to 4 hours for the iPhone to charge from 20% to 80% Itโs worth noting that I was using the phone for two of those hours and that I have my phone set to 80% max charge. Iโm not sure how much time the charging took between that 3.5 and 4 hours, because I was out mowing the lawn and didnโt see exactly when the charge reached 80%.
Next, without recharging the power bank, I used its cable to charge my iPad. It took two hours to charge the iPad from 42% to 72%, but at that point the power bank had run out of charge. The description says the power bankโs โbattery capacity is enough to provide up to 2.5 full charges to your smartphone, up to a full charge to your tablet.โ So I guess itโs fair enough that it gave me one full charge of my iPhone plus a 30% increase in the charge level on my iPad.
The power bank does get quite warm while charging, but not actually hot.
The two ports are covered and marked in/out and out. I worry a little bit that the writing will eventually rub off. But I suppose that by the time it does, my brain will have memorized which is which.
I didnโt conduct any drop experiments, but the power bank definitely appears to be well protected, and I feel confident it can survive the usual types of falls.

We love UAG products in our household. This new MagSafe power bank is no exception. It has dual USB C ports in addition to the MagSafe connector, so it works with practically any device. Its ports are covered to protect against the elements, so this would be perfect to take along with any outdoor activities like camping, hunting, hiking, biking, etc. Overall, I would recommend it.

This is a nice solid little power bank! It’s compact but powerful! As a Samsung user, I love that this charger allows super fast charging! The little kickstand is a great added feature. The magnet strength is really strong, so it will stay in place without sliding out of place and interrupting the charging. Just to note though, the magnetic charging charges slower. In order for the super fast charging, it must be connected with the cord. Great to have on hand, because you never know when you really need it! Very easy to use. Overall excellent buy!
MICO’S TECH ADVICE –
First the pros: This is certainly a sturdy battery pack, it looks like its wearing armour! I don’t feel the need to do the drop test, but I can believe it would withstand some beatings. So it looks pretty cool. I also really like the flip out stand, with works really well and is very solid feeling. It means you can keep your phone upright and functional whilst its recharging. I also like the rubber cover for the cable socket โ the amount of devices I’ve had to dig out debris from sockets which prevent them from charging or working properly! It’s a good idea. It charged my iphone pretty quickly and getting it from 12 to 99% seemed to use about half of the power bank’s energy. So this will be good for portable top ups.
The cons: The advert does state: ‘Conveniently charge your device without the need to remove your protective case.’ This is quickly followed by a disclaimer that for ‘MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE’ use cases designed for MagSafe charging. This suggests again there is performance for non MagSafe cases. In my experience it the power bank offers almost zero performance for phones stored in not specialist cases, so the first of those statements is simply not true, and that’s a pain. I keep my iphone in a silicone case, and with that on, there was virtually no magnetic connect, and it would charge only after a lot of moving it around whilst the power bank was lying flat. The other phones in this house are in plastic cases, and they did not charge at ALL with their cases on. It means the major selling point of this power bank โ conveniently charging without removing the case โ is lost. Also, the only clue as to the power left in the battery is 5 LED dots, which is quite vague and could be 20% one way or the other! Surely for this price, there could be a more accurate actual % displayed?
