I’m not a “beginner” with the guitar. That being said, this is my first 12-string. Admittedly, I chose it for the low price, but after checking out what other players were saying about it, I quickly ordered it. It arrived extremely well packed and protected. That really was a concern for me due to the weather my area was experiencing. The accessories added much to the value. A good quality padded gig bag, strings on the guitar along with an extra set, a neck wrench, digital tuner, capo, and a cord to plug it in to an amp since it is equipped with an EQ and volume controls. After tuning it up, I did just that and the tone was top-notch. I also found that the strings are keeping their tune after three tuning ‘sessions’. The guitar is, well…beautiful! Very well-crafted with excellent tone. Sometimes, acoustic-electrics suffer in tone due to the installation of electronic ‘hardware, and such, but I’m totally pleased with the sound it produces ‘unplugged’. The neck action is smooth with easy fretting all the way up and down. I did tune it a tone down from ‘E’ to save on neck tension, but that’s just me. I genuinely feel it would be cool to set it up in ‘E’, but I listened to others who own various makes of 12-strings and since this was my first, I followed their advice. It’s no big deal at all to capo the first fret if you want the good ol’ sound of standard tuning, and like I mentioned earlier, they even supply a capo to use.
All-in-all, I’m happy I bought this guitar. I did shed a star about “beginners” because I always recommend to those just starting out on their guitar journey, to begin on a 6-string. But I leave that up to public opinion.
Best of luck with it all!

Nice enough guitar. I’ve always wanted to try a 12 string but couldn’t afford a Yamaha. This is quite good quality for such a low price. The touch is excellent. Just barely off the neck, but enough. The sound is ok. Nothing like my vintage 6 string, but pretty good.
Nice kit. The carry bag is good. The little tuner works. Not thrilled with the capo, but…
All in all, a great deal for $200.

One Review To Rule Them All –
This Vangoa 12-string guitar is a solid instrument at an affordable price. It has sturdy construction. The finish is nearly flawless. The binding throughout the guitar is excellent. The tuners are solid and sturdy. The electronics function properly and the guitar sounds great when plugged into an amplifier. My guitar arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. The neck did require a truss rod adjustment to make the guitar playable. It comes with a decent quality padded gig bag. An accessory bag includes 4 picks, a capo, guitar strap, cleaning cloth, truss rod wrench and a instrument cable. Overall, a solid value.
One Review To Rule Them All –
This is a seriously great guitar for the money, and the customer service is amazing as well!
It has a nice fit and finish, and it’s a great playing and sounding guitar. I was looking to get a 12-string into my guitar collection again, as I was missing having one, and wanted to use one for an upcoming project. I came across several YouTube reviews for this, so I thought I’d order it and give it a shot. The initial guitar was quite nice, but had a couple defects; I contacted Vangoa customer service, and sent info and pics of the issues, and they quickly sent me a replacement guitar. Shout out to Cleo for all the help!
I was pleasantly surprised with quality of this guitar, and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I feel it’s important to note that if you have any issues at all, contact Vangoa customer service; they are happy and willing to help. It’s honestly been years since I dealt with a company that would actually stand behind their product like that.

Excellent 1st 12 string guitar .
Some other reviews about string breaking and body warping had me scared so I went on YouTube, meteorite sound tune12 sting guitar and it gives you tones for every string in the order of tuning keys and tuned to it and then fine tuned with built in tuners and everything was ready to rock .
Not a single problem and went strait to playing some floyd .

This is my second very inexpensive guitar that I’m impressed with. This one has a beautiful finish, sounds good, feels good under the hands, has surprisingly good tuners. The nut is slotted well but not too deep, which is actually good because some people prefer it higher and those that don’t can cut it down deeper.
I have some apprehensions about the structural integrity since the soundboard (top) appears to have some caving in near the neck joint, as you can see in the video I uploaded. Normally this would happen as a result of the high amount of string tension that 12-strings have, plus bad design and/or age. But this guitar was delivered new just yesterday and I noticed the problems after partially tuning up just a few strings. In fact, it could have been there before any tension was ever applied via strings.
UPDATE: The seller sent me a replacement guitar with perfectly level upper bout and I feel a lot better about this one lasting. It also has a better cut saddle (the tops of the fundamental and sympathetic strings are more or less aligned) and better dressed frets. I think I’m gonna be playing this guitar quite a bit now.
