VANTRUE N2X 2.7K Dual Dash Cam

I needed a new dash cam to replace my current one for two reasons: 1. It has to be a dual dash cam with both front and inside recorded for better coverage. 2. It has to run on a capacitor, not a regular built-in battery, to survive the summer hot here.
I have known the Vantrue brand for a long time, and I was scared away by its price until now. I decided to give it a try. I was impressed. Besides the good video quality, wifi, and GPS features, I’d like to add something else: 1. the installation is made easy. 2. the view angle is beyond my expectations. 3. the detachable design helps me to take it off and hide it very easily.
Installation is made easy with its thoughtful design. It comes with a transparent film to stick to the windshield and a 3m sticker between the film and its removable base. This is exactly the way I wanted! I hate to use stickers directly on my windshield. It’s hard to remove and it’s messy. Quite a few other brands, unfortunately, do it that way. Please learn from Vantrue! Oh, and I really appreciate that it comes with a spare set of the film, the 3m sticker and the removable base. It also comes with a pry bar which is a lifesaver. I no longer need to keep the cable dangling like my old dash cam because I can easily push the cable behind the windshield and under canbinet using this tool.
The view angle of the dash cam front and inside are very good. I observed that it can record almost all the left and right areas I can see through the windshield. The inside camera is also wide enough to be able to record the things happening near my side windows. Imagine someone approaching you from the driver side window. You can have that footage.
You may detach the camera from both the very bottom of the base and the module that plugs into the camera body. I feel that detaching directly from the module plug is the easiest. And since the power cable is attached to the bottom of the base, you don’t need to unplug any cable at all. This is another outstanding design I like so much.
Vantrue, please keep making good products like this!

First off, shipping was quick. It comes in a nice sturdy box in order to keep everything from being damaged.
I already own a dash cam from Vantrue and love it, so I decided to get another newer model for my Motorhome.
This model is a front and inside dash cam and was easy to setup. It even now supports LTE connection.
They have also improved the software and the easiness of how it connects in comparison to my older dash cam. The software contains a multitude of features and settings.
Connecting to 5G wifi is now a breeze. I like how you can now get over the air upgrades.
Being able to use up to a 512GB SD card is also nice.
Video quality is impressive and can also be lowered if more memory space is needed. Also has really good night vision.
I tried the voice activation software and so far it seems to respond really well.
Parking mode will be very useful when I’m away from the motorhome and gone site seeing.
Vantrue so far have been great to deal with and I find their customer support has been superior than most other companies out there.
So far I’m loving my purchase and looking forward to some beautiful road trips with the safety of this dash cam.
